Dane Posted May 25, 2004 Share Posted May 25, 2004 Well I arrived at the park at my perfect target time, 9:30. And met up with the other "enthusiasts" including the mysterious, and tall, Shaggy. We chatted as we were escorted back to The Beast. I sat with James, the most enthusiastic person I have ever seen for a ride on The Beast... ever. After the ride, Beast Crew, ACEer's and I left to go to Scooters, which was just opening up as we got there. At Scooters, Snappers Fest began. Every single tub was snapping hard. So hard to the point that everyone on the midway stopped to watch, including some employees. After about 4 rides, we left. Beast crew went to Vortex, and I went out shooting. At promptly 11:00 I went to CDBB. They had opened it earlier than 11: sand it was already packed! Shooting began as I entered the park. (Boring stuff about me taking photos goes here.) Skip to 4:30 after I took the last CDBB photos of the day, my shooting eye was severely irritated. So I decided to call it a day and go to the main park. Brad called me and we were to meet up at the maps next to Guest Relations. He wanted to ride rides so we started off. We passed the Keyhole Photo people where we got asked to pose for a quick picture by a rather good looking girl. So I did my counter attack and asked to take a picture of her. She was shocked but didn't say no. We decided to go back to CDBB and he had to go home and change. We met up at the super secret employee entrance to the park. After renting a locker we were off to Taz. The line was long but it went fast. Lots of funny conversations in that line. Taz was awesome, I highly recommend it. The line to Pipeline paradise was short so we hopped on that. There was alot of those body boarding attractions enthusiasts that bring there own boards. They were good. Following that was Brad, bad news written all over it. Along with something else I won't go into. Well, I will say this, Brad forgot to tie something. My ride was boring, but I still beat Brad on time on the wave. C. Racers was next so we walked over there. Line was decent and it was cool to watch the packed to the brim parking lot. I beat Brad on that as well, by far. Dried off and went over to the main park and got in line for Scooters. When Dan called and joined us at the exit. Dan and I had to hop on the Zephyr because its so underrated. Got some food and went back to the Scooters. Caught a ride, than got another with the Fireworks going off. Than the last ride on the Scooters since security had cut everyone off and there was about 5 people still in line. After that we walked to The Beast who still had all the ques filled with guests. Felt sorry for The Beast crew. Got out to the lot at 10:20 and didn't end up getting out of the lot until 10:50, thats how crowded it was.
