TheKlockster
Troika is a Beast. That thing keeps going and going and going and going. It has closed before - for very minor things - but the thing seems to be foolproof in general. I hope the park keeps it around for a long time. It has high capacity - near 500 per hour - and is extremely reliable.

It's almost as much of a classic to the park as The Racer, the Carosell or the Tower.
Vortex
Hello everyone. I am new here, I just found this website. I have not ridden SOB for a couple of years now. The last time I rode it, it was probably one of the worst coasters I have been on. But from what everyone says it is alot better now. Guess I will have to try it again this year You still have to ride it defensively, but it's 100x better than even last year. I found it about the same as last year. TheKlockster
Ours was first too! I always thought theirs was first - since it opened first. But close examination of the two plaques proved different. Shake, Rattle & Roll - Serial Number 26731 Cedar Point Troika - Serial Number 26732 So ours was apparently made first. I am proud to say that not only have I been on two Troikas - I have been on two HUSS rides with consecutive Serial Numbers!
shadow2k3
I did find that strange that we got ours first. But it seems that the giants don't have as much luck as the standard Huss flats. maXair was behaving like Delirium on opening day.. so I don't think it's just Delirium that has all the problems. I think it's a giant ride-wide thing. Oh well. Maybe Huss will come to and tweak it. Who knows.. ~S~
TheKlockster
Yeah and we found out the consoles are the same - on both rides - as well as another highly questionable (for guests) feature of the Troikas. Cedar Point's Troika is not as long as ours - but its more forceful or something. It feels totally different.
Delirium33
Tomb Raider might be closed when the park opens like SOB, but once it opens it useually stays open, whereas Delirium normally closes just for a little then reopens, sometimes more than once in a day. Also Tomb Raider is hardly ever crowded at the end of the day. It and The Beast are almost always my last rides of the day before the park closes! gburn07
SS@R is def a longer cycle than Troika at C.P. Its one of my fav cool off rides with the nice breeze. Those are the classic huss rides (troika, enterprise, tristar) that I love and hope that they stay for a long time.
The Interpreter
Virtually all the Kings Island flats cycle longer than the flats do at Cedar Point. It will be interesting to see what effect, if any, the acquistion has on this. That being said, if anything, MaXair seems to have a longer cycle than Delirium, in my experience. coasterking123456
Friday and Saturday you will probably only get to ride like 5 rides the best days to go is on a Monday or Wednesdays because alot of people have to work and they can't bring their children to school so it would be great if you can drive or if one of your parents doesn't work. gburn07
Friday is still considered the weekday so Sat and Sun are the worst times to be in the park. Just wondering what your reply on this topic has to do with ne thing coasterking
Deliriumbeast
Sorry I haven't been on in awhile, but my friends and I have decided to go on a Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and half a day Saturday. So, will visiting those days help to avoid the crowds? Saturday you will probably only get to ride like 5 rides That is what happened to me, when I visited Paramount's Carowinds. I hope PKI is better than Paramount's Carowinds at not having as long of lines on Saturdays. Thanks for the tips!
Face-Off216
Everytime I have been to PKI delerium has been open. SOB is sometimes closed but delerium is almost always open.
Deliriumbeast
Well, I didn't go half a day Saturday, but I just got back from PKI for my first time, and I loved it. I will post a trip report later. But, Delirium was open all three days I was there. Tomb Raider, and Drop Zone were down for a little while on Wednesday, but were opened up later in the day. The rides, atmosphere, food, shows, cleaniness, were all so well done. I can't wait for a trip back!
