Family's 1 trip help

Featured Replies

My family (8 total) will be going to Kings Island next week( Fri and Sat). It has been like 20 years since I have been there. What should I expect? We will have two small children ( 3 1/2 and 4 years old). What are some rides for them? What are some not to be missed rides, shows, food, etc? About how long will the lines be for the rides? We go to Disney World often, but always on the off season so we are use to very short lines. Any tips, advice, or comments would be appreciated. Thanks

Expect something for the entire family. Awsome kids area w/ plenty of rides. Great atmosphere. Lines shouldnt be to bad. Hope you have fun. Advice: Get there early, but dont bother to try and get on The Beast first thing

Everyone has their own way of doing things. Me personally I go to one end of the park and just work my way to the other riding everything as I go! I usually go towards face-off first then ride The Beast in the evening, I love The Beast at dark!

Hope you have fun!!

The new Nickelodeon Universe will be a perfect hangout for your kids. The best part is, most of the rides and attractions can be enjoyed by the whole family.

If you need to cool off, Scooby Doo and the Haunted Castle is a great attraction that the kids would enjoy. On that same note, if the kids aren't bothered by semi-loud music and bright lights School of Rock Live in Concert! is an excellent show that has rock songs from the past few decades to the present and teaches you how to stick it to 'the man'.

I hope you have a great time, and make sure you tell us about it in a Trip Report!

^Like everyone has said, the all new Nickelodeon Universe is sure to be a hit with your kids and theres plenty for the adults when they want to break away and have some fun of their own, make sure to let us know how your trip goes, and when checking out the attraction pages here at PKICentral make sure you check out some of the "central tips"?
