Vortexlover2
Many have been waiting for this moment - the moment when Cedar Point finally makes their announcement for 2007. It's time to find out. Cedar Point has decided to make this announcement early due to the fact they have already had it planned for a number of years and want people to be truly excited for its grand opening in 2007. Rumors have been flying to what this may be. After all, it is Richard Kinzel's last year in 2006 and many think he will go out with a "Big Bang." Some think it's a 500-foot coaster while others think it will be improvements for each part of the park. For example, something for Cedar Point, Soak City, the hotels, etc. Well, Cedar Point has most definitely surprised everyone. No one could have guessed this. The closest guess was a record breaker for it is Cedar Point and they have a habit of building those record breakers! Now it’s time for the big moment. Cedar Point is to debut the world's tallest and fastest kiddy coaster! You heard right, it's a record breaking kiddy coaster. It will be a mini rocket coaster similar to their last record breaker, Top Thrill Dragster. Of course it is much smaller. Cedar Point feels that within the past few years that they haven't been building as many family oriented rides as they would have liked. Now they are sure this will really bring the families in. Now it’s time to hear what various people have to say about this new record breaker at Cedar Point. "I think it's an extreme let-down, says a 21 year old coaster enthusiast, I was expecting a 500-foot coaster or if not that something totally amazing!" However a seven year old boy has a very different opinion, "I think it's so cool! I want to go on something that is the tallest and fastest but I am too short to go on that big tall thing so now I can go on this! I can't wait!" This is exactly what Cedar Point wanted. They think the kids never get anything special and now it's time they do. Cedar Point will now become the family oriented park it wants to be. sorry if this was already posted when I heard this I was laughing, because everyone knew it was going to be a record breaker, and the thing is, it is, and it's not what anyone expected. ~vl2

TheKlockster
Yeah I don't think that's really credible. Now what is credible is that Cedar Fair WISHES they were installing SW1 at Kings Island...

screamingnight
I have never ever heard of such a HUGE HUGE let down. For a LONG time Cedar Point was being smart and not wasting their money. They was using their money wise and smart. Now they are throwing money into the toilet and flushing it down. Tallest, fastest kiddie coaster what a bunsh a BS. I am so devastated. I am really dissapointed in Cedar Point. I used to have two thumbs up for CP now two thumbs down because of this incident. Every time thrill seekers hope for a new coaster they have to turn it into something family oriented.
