The Interpreter
At Six Flags Over Georgia during Fright Fest and on Season Pass Appreciation Day, some VERY familiar music was playing! Yes, THAT music. A very nice (and almost identical) version. And there was Christmas music from time to time on Season Pass day... A hint of things to come? Avatar
Do you mean more Season Pass Appreciations Days?
The Interpreter
A bit more than that. They always have their Season Pass Appreciation Day on the first Saturday in November, with free parking and half price in the shops and restaurants. But...I have NEVER heard them play Christmas music on that day...nor THAT particular organ music...
Avatar
Seems like a lot of parks are willing to try the Holiday Festival at their parks. So I would be guessing that some parks must be doing well with them. Also it sounds as if you attended the event in question this past weekend, So please tell me how were the crowds? The Interpreter
One of the nicest things about Six Flags Over Georgia Season Passholder Appreciation Day is there are almost never crowds. This year was no exception. ONLY the preferred parking lot was open (and no charge). All restaurants and shops had everything they had on sale for half price. The longest line in the park was for the Great American Scream Machine, which was only running one train. Nothing else had a line of more than fifteen minutes. Acrophobia and Deja Vu were closed, but the latter is not all that unusual...it is rarely open. The Georgia Cyclone was a walkon (except for the front seat [which some like] and the magical back seats...and even those were seldom more than a one train wait.) beastfan11
It kills me to know that they still have all the people and there in storage for most of the year
