Another park bites the dust, sigh.

Erieview is closing.

September 9 is the last day for the public.

DAFE is having one last event there.

I got the e-mail from DAFE a few hours ago. Apparently, the owner hasn't notified the employees yet (that day may be today).

I never said I "saw" it.

I said in the post the park is closing. It is also my understanding the employees have been told. If they had not been, I wouldn't be posting this.

I hope to goodness I am wrong about the park, but unless a different decision is made, I sadly know otherwise.

The closing of Erieview is confirmed. International Theme Park Services is today advising its clients that Norton Auctioneers of Coldwater, Michigan will be auctioning off the rides, equipment and memorbilia on Tuesday, October 3.

The park's land will be redeveloped for other, so far undisclosed, purposes.
