(If I could remember any of their names, I might start a petition or something... wink.gif )

Papa Bear

Mama Bear

Brother Bear

Sister Bear

.... oh wait, that is from something else. wink.gif

Anyway, even though the Nick characters may be more popular right now, the Peanuts gang has been around for almost 56 years. The Peanuts gang has withstood the test of time and many parents/ grandparents can relate better with Peanuts rather than SpongeBob; only because the older generations have seen the Peanuts more than the likes of SpongeBob etc.

Actually, it is the older generations that seriously dislike SpongeBob.

Well I read in a parenting Mag that the older gen loves spongebob because spongebob gives them something to watch with there grandkids and gives them something to relate to.

I my self love Peanuts growing up in the 90's I watched a lot of Hanna-Barbera of course I used to watch Your on Nick Charile Brown!.

I still would like to see Snoopy roaming the park along with Scooby-Doo and Spongebob... blink.gif

But Peanuts is not current anymore. Ever since Shutz died, no new episodes have been released. Even though we remember these characters, the younger generation does not relate to them, and thats where the characters need to relate.

Outside opinion, I think not having the Nick gang at the park actually might hurt the park itself.

Peanuts started as a comic strip, and even though Schulz died, the strip is quite popular in the reprint form, and I cannot think of any newspaper that does not have the Peanuts in it's comic section.

At the request of Schulz, no new strips will be done, but there are more cartoons based on the strips' past in the works.
