Guest faceoff Posted October 5, 2006 Share Posted October 5, 2006 I left on friday sept 29 at 11am and arrived at the breakers express at 3pm. After check in to a very nice room, i noticed people were actually in the pool(outdoors) and the whirlpool also outdoors. The weather was not that warm. At 5:30pm,entered the park and started with raptor and then,blue streak and maxair. After this,had my fortune told. I was told in few weeks-i would meet someone and have a great romantic relationship. The rest of the evening was spent going thru the haunted attractions and riding. My favorite haunted attraction was fright zone. The park closed at midnight and had a great time. Saturday went to the park at 11:30am and started with raptor and then wicked twister. Worked my way around the park and had a great time. I love the dead rock cemetery with all the graves of music stars that have passed on. The elvis grave is really cool, because elvis's skeleton is coming out of the grave with dark hair and sideburns still intact. Between 3pm-5pm-there was a light rain, so left at 5:30pm and did not return the remainder of the day. Sunday morning checked out of the breakers express and went to the park. The weather was perfect and my last day at cp was great. I ended the day with millennium force. What a super ending. I decided at the last minute to stay in sandusky till tuesday morning. I didn't have to be at work till tuesday evening. I found a vacancy at the super eight which cost $49 per night. That should have been a warning. Upon check in-there were no towels or facetowels,washcloths. I went down to the desk and no one there. A note was on the desk that said-for assistance call ext 104. I did and someone came and obtained my towels. Back in the room,the bedspread had two small holes. In the nightstand was two used q-tips and one had dried blood. In the bathroom,there were a few knats flying around. The first night,there was no one in the next door room. The second night-someone checked in and could hear them talking throughout the evening. The rooms were adjoining. At about 5:30am,the person was snoring and this woke me up and this kept me awake. I wanted to go over and roll the person onto the floor. Also when using the shower,the drain did not work properly and filled up. I was confused-was i taking a shower or swimming.? Next year,when i go to halloweekends,after check out from breakers express-i will stay at the hampton inn. I hope whoever reads this will take my advice. Next year,i will spend the extra money and stay at the hampton after check out from breakers express. I am glad you found my comments funny. I tried to insert some humor.
