November 11, 200619 yr http://rcdb.com/ig2746.htm?picture=8 I thought every single lapbar had to be down to start any coaster. Could someone explain? PLEASE!!!
November 11, 200619 yr What is up??? Well the lap bars are up, but on further investigation I found that no one is in those seats. I'm sure someone will have a secure reason for your question.
November 11, 200619 yr As a safety rule, every lapbar SHOULD be down before a coaster is started, but, mechanically, most coasters have no interlock system to ensure that is the case. That's a modern PTC train, but there is no electronic system that monitors the lapbars on those trains (as there IS on many B and M's and on El Toro. . . ) If you liked the picture you posted, look at the last car in this one! http://rcdb.com/ig2746.htm?picture=6 The lapbar is up behind the last occupant, almost forming a head restraint!
