Cory Butcher
7188 I figured the 7 was July, 1 was the first and 88 was your year. You are two days older than me, I too have a late birthday July 3rd, 1988 is when I was born. Where are you going to college?

cincyboy79
I worked for the park from 1996 - 1999 I started at the high $4/hr range I believe and left at like $5.35. That was when gas was what less than a dollar a gallon (darn!). At that time I worked for the perks, free admission to one of my favorite parks. I will say it was one of the best job enviroments I have ever had, the crews were great! And they did a lot of fun things for us, ride nights, cook outs etc. I certainly hope CF doesnt put a stop to those. Like some of the others on here I drove about 45 minutes to get to the park, I lived in Dayton at the time.
cewldre
Tycoon, I lived darn near close to where you are living. You hopefully know where Addyston is and I lived just above that. I had slightly less than an hour long drive (mainly because I was no where near an easy highway access) and it is tough to go to work when the gas is getting more and more expensive. I do love what I do. I eventually had to move to Mason. I probably spend as much in heat as I did in gas, so I think it works out for me, I get to sleep in now. Purplehaze
Does not matter how much they pay actually... There will always be a Kings Island, and people can ***** all they want but thats the way it is and we cant change it....No matter who owns it.... Everyone has a opinion and thats what these boards are for, however the post about high turnover rates will be high and i agree but there will always be someone to replace someone who quits or who is a %age to this turnover rate.... Some things i dont like about the park and some i do , but no matter what i will always go there until the day i die...
TopThrill
We in General Services get a little more in terms of pay, mostly because we have the hole park to clean. And yes even the picnic grove and Boom Bay. P.S. The water park can be the hardest place to work, it turns into a desert.
Cory Butcher
what I dont understand is why jobs that have a minimum age of 16 years of age, pay the exact same as jobs that require an age of 18. Just seems like you would pay more to the jobs that require greater responsibility, or why even have the age specifications then?
