Geauga Lake Takes New Direction

Featured Replies

The park also needs to get fireworks for the 4th of july and make good use out of the Geauga lake sadium.....

trust me they dont need a fireworks display, Auora, Solon and many of the surronding towns have fire work displays so close to GL on the July 4, that they dont need one, i was there on the 4th (well i am there everyday) and there is literally smoke and ash at the waterpark enterence.

Not to mention that Geauga Lake's current budget MIGHT allow for six Roman candles and an M-80. But to do that, they'd have to cut the season even more...

Cedar Fair has other parks other then KI to put rides in and I don't think they will put 2 coasters into KI year after year. I would hate to loose Dominator also because then we wouldn't have a floorless coaster in Ohio. Dominator is the best coaster left at GL in my opinion. If they remove it I think the attendence will drop alot more then it will this summer.

I made these for what I would like to see in the future to come:

Now, i'm not talking about a Giant Frisbee or a Drop Zone type but I could see a frisbee(whether it be Chance or Zamprela) and a launch/Drop Tower.
