On the other hand, KI and CP had been friendly competitors not in direct competition with each other for quite some time. For one thing, for quite some time, they viewed Six Flags (in its bigtime expansion days) as a scary competitor. KI went more for the family market, while CP went for the thrillseekers...and the strategies worked well for each. I doubt we see major changes in those strategies in the near term, though I do think execution will improve dramatically now.
