That's crazy!!! It doesn't look like the supports are held down to the ground by anything and there are people riding it. I do miss the Cobra, though.

yes i captured all the pics taken here at Kings Island, the ones for over seas was taken by mr. david focke, retired vice president construction and maintenance in 2002

Wow i cant wait to see the rest of them. You are a great ne wmember and may you keep the pics coming and coming. Man seeing thos pictures makes me think of The Cobra back in its glory days.

Seeing those pictures reminds me of never riding KC, due to fear/height (or lack there of), but instead standing down in the que area waiting for the rest of my group.

Now you can get a better understand why the footings on King Cobra were so tall in certain areas. The ride was designed to sit on flat ground. Also King Cobra truly was the prototype stand-up coaster. Notice the color of the trains in the pic where people are riding. Pretty neat though. Thanks for sharing these great pics.
