padfoot714
Fridays are OK in the earlier hours but it gets really crowded once school lets out for the afternoon.
WhoDeyForever
Ok, so I went around 2:30 last night untill close and it wasn't that crowded actually..We rode Vortex,Flight of Fear, Delirium, Firehawk, Beast,Tomb Raider,Italian Job Stunt Track and Zephyr and I think that's it..Firehawk did shut down for I don't know how long but me and my friend decided to wait in line for about 25 minutes not knowing how long it would take..When it opened back up we were like 3rd outside the line so it took about another 5 minutes to ride it..So in total it was about a 30 minute wait..Wasn't bad at all..When we got on the ride though it was amazing...It is probably my favorite ride now at KI..I just love the feel of it and the way you fly..The ride operators were very pumped up I finally rode The Beast in the very front seat to..We got in line and waited for about 10 minutes..That was a pretty amazing ride to...I also rode IJ:ST for the first time..I haven't thought much of it when I have visited KI the last couple years since it was built and thought it wasnt that great of a ride but it really did surprise me..It was really exciting...We then rode Delirium for the 2nd time and to finish the day off...I had a fun day and I went straight to sleep when I got home I can't wait to go again! Nice. I was there yesterday too and the only wait that my friends and I had was on Firehawk where we waited about an hour and a half. Everything else was basically walk on. I'm going again next Friday early and I was wondering if anyone knew if X-Base opens early with Coney Mall since Fridays are early open there for Gold Pass holders. I went Friday and took advantage of ERT. Flight of Fear was open, and we were able to ride it three times before the park opened. Firehawk did not open until 10:05, but we were able to get in line right before the big crowd came at 10, and therefore we were able to get on the 4th ride of the day. So the ERT worked out perfectly for us: 3 rides on FoF and front of the line for Firehawk, all before 10.
PKIVortex
I went on Friday, May 18th and the park was dead. However once the summer gets into full swing, the park tends to be a little busier on Friday's as it's getting closer to the weekend. I've only been to one so far (Action Zone) but I already love the early ride times.
PKIVortex
I have yet to make it to any of the early rides times, since I've had a Gold Pass. I just don't hardly make it to the park that early anymore. I may have to do it though here soon.
The Interpreter
Hmmmm.... My Cedar Point pass will not get me into early ride times at Kings Island. Odd. Especially since I paid extra for a MAXX pass, but my Six Flags pass gets me into early ride times at other Six Flags parks, and I didn't pay even a cent more than for a single park Six Flags pass. I, for one, think this whole Cedar Fair season pass policy is too convoluted for its own good.
PKIVortex
Yes and before with your pass you got 4 other theme parks to go with it if you wanted to go to the other Paramount Parks. I know that CF owns more parks then what PP's did. One thing too that doesn't make a lot of since to me is, the Maxx Pass is cheaper at other CF parks then what it costs at KI. Yeah they are 3 parks in Ohio, and I'm sure that is what they are going for. They probably also put into thought, if you had a PP Pass last year, and a CF Pass last year, that you would spending a little less to get a Maxx pass. Also Six Flags offers admission to all Six Flags parks without any of the gimmicks of the add on passes, like Maxx, or Maxx Plus.
