I truly wish they had been able to keep this ride. It would look beautiful over the park.

    Here is the story of the ride malfunction that happened prior the ride being shutdown because of high winds:

    From what I heard, the park offered but no one took them. If that had been me up there though... ;)

    Probably not. It would have been Mr. Carl Lindner who most likely would have made that decision (see also Great American Financial). Mr. Lindner retained much of the park's real estate when he sold Kings Island to Paramount.
