Attendance at Riverbend Music Center and the new National City Pavilion was up 61 percent this year. It also makes Riverbend Music Center the 11th most visited outdoor ampitheater, according to Pollster`s third quarter report. That is up from its 26th ranking in 2007.

The Pavilion is very nice. I was there for Weird Al and I was very impressed. The only problem I had was before the show, when the sun was setting. The sun slipped in on the sides but it was gone about 10 minutes into the show.

Now of course with PNC buying National City, I got a feeling that it will soon be the PNC Pavilion, which doesnt sound bad at all

Do you have attendance figures for Coney?

It seemed to be a banner year. Even the rain for July 3rd

didn't seem to discourage the masses.
