BoddaH1994
In a final act of de-Paramountization, the ACE Block, saluting the American Coaster Enthusiasts has been removed from International Street. Several rumors have been circulating about the remnants of the stone, but nothing has been confirmed at the moment. The question on everyone's mine of course is, will the ACE stone be replace with a new non-Paramount ACE stone? The answer is no.
The Interpreter
Nah...it would cost money, and Cedar Fair doesn't have the money to spend on such tripe. Perhaps ACE should offer to pay for its own stone and installation, and, like Disney, the park could sell each coaster club its own stone...perhaps even charging more for preferable locations and more intricate designs, larger sizes, etc... Browntggrr
This is not that big of a deal anymore. The wait for Beast is usually not that long to justify a special walkback.
The Interpreter
The special walkback, to the older ACErs among us, always recalls the memories of Ruth Voss. These days, I doubt many recall her. I, for one, am pleased that it continues. Ruth would not have wanted it limited to only ACE members in this day and age, either. She was one classy woman.
