Advice on camping near Kings Island

Featured Replies

Hello all. I am planning on making my first visit to Kings Island during Ride Warriors weekend. My question to everyone is are there any good camp grounds near Kings Island? I've seen a few, but they all seem to lock their gates from around 10:30-7am ish. I am tent camping and never been to the area.

Thanks you for any advice.

Once the KI Campground closed I stayed at Lake Cozy Dale several times, which is about 20 minutes away. Its main purpose is a fishing lake and it is busiest at night. It might be sort of loud in a tent, but you would not have the issue of them closing up.

Morgan's Canoe Livery is close by.

They have a campground and cabins.

They also have running water, flushing toilets and a showerhouse.

It is also kept very clean!

Also check out visitkingsisland.com and they have a list of campgrounds in the area.

Thanks for the help everyone. The Lake Cozy Dale people were very nice and understanding about coming in at late hours. I can't wait for my first visit to Kings Island and my coaster enthusiast event.
