McSalsa
Yep. It's another poll by me. This time around, I have gotten an idea: pick 2 or more coasters, and pit them against each other in a battle to see which coaster is enjoyed the most. That coaster wins the battle. I will try to not pick unfair battles, so you won't see a Voyage vs. Son of Beast battle(because Voyage would just run away with it). These will not, however, be limited to just KI coasters, but will often be KI vs. Other Coaster battles instead of just Other Coaster vs. Other Coaster...unless a really good battle comes up. I will create a page on this site under "other" where you can suggest future coaster battles. There will also be "Triple Threat", "Fatal 4 Way", or even "Battle Royal" coaster battles where up to six coasters duke it out! The next coaster battle will be Son of Beast vs. Mean Streak vs. Texas Giant in a triple threat match dubbed "Big, Rough, and Wooden". But I want this battle to get some attention for right now. And for the first battle, I have chosen 2 "family thrill rides", both at Kings Island. Adventure Express against Backlot Stunt Coaster. Who will win this battle? LET THE BATTLE BEGIN! McSalsa
http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=18600 Here is the suggestion page for future battles. PLEASE, DO NOT LIST SUGGESTIONS ON THIS PAGE.
Justin_M17
Adventure Express. I find BLSC to be way too short and boring, especially for the line it always has. The pyrotechnics (Spelling?) are quite dull, and the machinegun fire from the helicopter is way too loud.
Colonel_SoB_fan
Backlot for the win. You can get some decent air time on BLSC. Throw in a way under rated launch and the Mini's, and a pitch dark tunnel into a "pond"
DropZone99
Adventure Express is amazing, The third Best steel Coaster at Kings Island (DB#1, TG#2.) Backlot isn't really too good...
McSalsa
Oops. I made a unfair fight against BLSC. It's 5 to 1! Oh well...BTW, CB #2:Big Rough & Wooden is now up if you wish to see that poll.

violakat03
I have a soft spot for launched coasters. BLSC.
Dvo
AE ftw. Best mine train coaster I've been on, hands down. BLSC is okay. But it also forced the removal of the eagles...
TTD-120-420
AE. Just cuz of the guys in the tunnel that make me laugh.
MarketingExpress
Wow I am really torn on this one since I have had lots of experience with both rides. But, there is something special about AE and how it follows the landscape of the land around it. I also still consider AE to be one of the most under rated night rides at the park due to The Beast's popularity for night rides and everyone wanting to catch a night ride on DB. An added bonus is that AE barely has a line at that time of the night.
Beast1979
Adventure Express by far. Backlot's launch and helix are great and the pitch black tunnel is nice, but the rest is flat. Adventure Express is killer.
DiamondbackLover
Definitely BLSC. Adventure Express is jerky, slow, and goes up a hill at the end that you think will go down. Boo.
RailRider
The launch and upward helix on BLSC is greater than anything AE can offer.
TheCryptRaider
AE, and what would really complete it is if they planted some big trees in between certain areas of the ride. It'd give it a more 'Jungle' feel. I still love it though, more than BLSC.
MrTools
Adventure Express, i mean look at the name ADVENTURE also it is much longer than BLSC and its a walk on, evey time!
HTCO
Adventure Express for the take down.
74Gibson
I didn't even bother riding BLSC the 1st two times I visited since it opened thinking it would be gimicky and boring. So wrong! I absolutely love it. It's just fun and makes me feel like a kid again. Adventure Express is dated, aged, jerky and not very exciting. MarketingExpress
If all the effects were working on BLSC, I bet it could give AE a run for it's money.

HTCO
If all the effects were working on BLSC, I bet it could give AE a run for it's money. And if AE had all the effects working... it would be close. But BLSC wins on the attempt.
Tom76257
"Triple Threat", "Fatal 4 Way", or even "Battle Royal" I take it you're a fan of professional wrestling. Being one myself I couldn't help but notice. Anyways, BLSC gets my vote. I constantly have to lean because of the jerkiness on AE. I also had to be put on muscle relaxants because I got my head lurched back thanks to AE's chain. I really don't know if I like BLSC or not except for the tunnel. That part I LOVE! That helix in the beginning is also FORCEFUL! Just wondering, will there be a Vortex vs. Diamondback battle soon?
dragsterfan420
Are you kidding me? This shouldn't even be a poll. AE has two wicked awesome lift hill, a ton of turns, animatronics, Indiana Jones music for some reason?, and is themed well. What BLSC? Is themed around a Mini Cooper driving around a parking lot... () Seriously AE is better IMHO.

BLSC is probably the best themed coaster in the park in my opinion..
TOPGUN1993
How can yawl not love Adventure Express?!!!!?!!? It's most def. the 2nd best ride in the park (#1 DB)
The Interpreter
How is AE themed well? It doesn't even really have a theme.... . To add on to that, it's jerky, has a lame hill, and is old... Old? I have socks older than that coaster! Terpy, whose head is still hurting...AE old? Sigh.
KI-Datro
Dude... AE all the way! BLSC is really lame, I think it's for younger kids and tourists who get out to the park once a year..
Brandon
I guess I'm one of the only ones who thinks BLSC is a great coaster and very fun... AE doesn't thrill me that much. So definetly Backlot Stunt Coaster.
