  1. This coaster model actually was never entirely lost because it was brought to Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 as a coaster you can build and design yourself. Might also be in RCT2 but Im not sure. RCT3 got a rerelease on the first Nintendo Switch just a few years ago and I built my own pipeline coaster in RCT3 2 years ago. I had a lot of fun building it.
  2. Thank goodness! The end of the ride was horrible last summer when I was at Holiday World for 4 days. Rode it 2 times on that trip. I think the second time was rougher. Most of the coaster is plenty smooth to me and then, you know.
  3. Im a visual person too though Im also a writer. I love making drawings and such too as well as the likes of new haunted houses, dark rides, roller coasters, and more for my Minecraft theme park resort home to over 110 roller coasters!
  4. To be frank, this is the first time I have ever had any Phantom Theater dreams as far as I recall XD.
  5. I am delighted to see this. I love how you clearly put time into this and just how great it looks!
  6. I just woke up after THREE back to back strange dreams featuring weird versions of the new Phantom Theater that are absolutely almost nothing like what the ride experience is going to be like. The first two focused on the ride experience while the third was a queue walk through but got cut off due to my alarm going off. The first two also had a really fast spinny part in the ride which makes no sense for obvious reasons. My excitement for Phantom Theater: Opening Nightmare runs so deep its embedded within my pysche. As cool as some of what I saw in those dreams was, none of it is what I will actually see on ride. Ive never had 3 back to back dreams about something specific before nor dreams about an upcoming attraction before. This is something I think some of the teams at KI and Sally would love hearing about.
  7. But I want one of the knights! Would make for an interesting training dummy for sword training.. Hah, no way would I wack a piece of Kings Island history/my childhood with one of my steel training swords for real! Also, my room is not exactly a good place for it and the knight has gotta weigh well over 100 pounds and I cant lift that much on my own! So.. go ahead! Have the knight! XD! And Im genuinely thrilled to be able to scroll for all of the items up for auction. Theyre selling off pretty much everything and theres some things I never recall seeing! Im near sighted and only rode Boo Blasters a few time with my glasses on and even then, I only scored over 1000 points 1-3 times. The minimum bid for the knight is $25. Thats such a steal that it would almost be called genuine theft. Of course, there is no way it or any of the other Boo Blasters things are getting sold for $25. Not even the ride signs will end up being sold for so little, Im certain of that. Theyre expecting to make tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands from this.
  8. #3! YEAAAAAAHHHHH! This rocks! I was just thinking not long ago just how huge Phantom Theater: Opening Nightmare could be and that it could be the greatest dark ride in the country outside of Disney and Universal. I am SO excited for it!
  9. This reminds me of the last time I went to SeaWorld Orlando. My mom got her, myself, and one of my siblings a 90 minute meal plan each and we were at the park for quite some hours.. We made so many stops to get food. It was genuinely ridiculous, all that food getting thrown away while I made it a point to eat all of it and thus “felt it in the morning”. I think we got meals with the meal plan like 6 times at least. My mom made it a point for us to stop at most of the major restaurants in the entire park. We could have just shared one meal plan. Oh well, I got to have a bunch of the foods I like most at least. So by Knott’s having a “no sharing” rule, some interesting consequences may happen on occassion like someone staying in park with their family for hours and just munching on a whole bunch of entrées with sides. I can see some people redeeming the meal plan and just giving the meal to someone else out of sight. Actually, thats definitely bound to happen. Especially amongst groups who visit a lot.
  10. Ive never been to a Buc-ee’s so it is REALLY funny that I independently came up with a similar layout for a restroom in my Minecraft theme park resort project. Its all because the building I put the bathroom in is a recreation of a building from another of my Minecraft worlds and it isnt long enough to have more than 2 stalls but it is wider than the bathrooms I typically build are. So I was able to put sinks in the center and stalls on either side. The original building has a funny story to it but I can save that for another day. Also, its worth mentioning that Kings Island has been a huge inspiration for a bunch of things in my project. The reason all 45 haunted houses(and counting) Ive built exist and are genuinely good is because of KI’s Haunt. Back on topic, that really is a good idea. Feels like the bathroom with its 1 stall was an afterthought when it was put in. I exclusively use stalls in bathrooms as I like the privacy of them so I know all too well how “fun” it is for there to only be one stall. Sometimes, youre better off going to another bathroom if you dont want to/cant use the urinals. As for my thoughts on KI Essentials getting a refurbishment, I love it so much. Looks really good. Will look even better in person. Refreshing shops, restrooms, and such is an underrated task for parks to do. After all, the things that are of lowest quality in the park are as important as its best offerings in weighing overall park quality.
  11. Maestro looks perfect! A blend of cool, creepy ish, and cute! I love this so much! The presentation, the IAAPA exclusive lines from Maestro and No Legs Larry, the way they revealed them with the curtain and the people dressed as ushers.. Just absolutelu splendid!
  12. At last, my conspiracy theory that the joke in What The Dickens at the expense of Six Flags was what got it axed from last year’s lineup. Looks like theyre going all in. They must be really be banking on Winterfest to succeed.
  13. Its exciting, they have quite a lot of space to work with still from what was once the area home to T3 and such. I got a birdseye view of that area 3 months ago via some of the water park’s slides. The whole area has a lots of dirt obviously but they havent cleared everything out just yet surprisingly. Theres also a clear view of some building behind it and I want to know whats in there. Probably storage for the park. I dont know. But the fact that this is going to be a multi year project means they have a LOT planned. I can see them adding new water slides somewhere eventually for sure. I also wonder if theyll be moving around anymore flat rides for whatever else is coming and what else may come down to make room. The park has been awesome at putting in great things in small spaces so there is that to consider too. Kentucky Flyer really packs a punch for its size for example.
