  1. The only things "weird" about Dollywood are that for an amusement park, their staff is incredibly friendly, and their food is all amazing. Compared to the other 99% of amusement parks in the world, this is definitely weird.

  3. Only been to two so far (Definitely going to Busch Gardens Tampa and Indiana Beach this year with a possibility of going to Cedar Point, Beech Bend, SF Chicago, and Mount Olympus by the end of the year.) So I might post after i have been to more parks but i would rank the parks as follows. 1. Holiday World 2. Kings Island HW is #1 because to me it is more geared to the consumer. They listen to their customers offer nice perks (free sunscreen, soda, parking) they are CLEAN and they have the right mix between a theme park 3 Solid coasters and a water park that is tops in the business especially for a seasonal park. They are open to any and every opinion that comes across their facebook page. (i was opposed to them buying KK thinking it would take away from HW in general and believed they had no idea what they were getting into with the likes of the Kentucky fair board AND the people who actually go to the park) they responded and said thanks for my input and for being honest. Kings Island on the other hand deleted me from their page (i had to relike the page) because i mentioned SOB. I still to this day cannot write on their wall or like anything they post. What a great way to show your customers support. Sorry for rambling. just get frustrated sometimes :D

  5. I think that what is currently in that building is pretty sad...from the time you enter until the time you leave it..I think that it and the former Paramount story area of the park are two areas in desperate need of some attention.

  7. A paint job would be nice, too. Who knows where that may lead?

  8. Photo #55- If they ever decide to "spruce" up Racer in the near future they should really make the front plates of the trains how they were.

  13. I totally agree with you on this. Unfortunately, it's a sign of the times in regards to society these days. People expect everybody else to do the work for them. Nobody likes to take the initiative anymore and do it themselves. I am completely different. I always try to find the information myself and only after exhausting all of my options and coming up empty would I actually call them up to ask about things such ticket prices or opening day. I don't know, I guess that's how I was raised. But I guess I'm part of a dying breed. And I'm not even that old!

  14. Last season mid way through Halloween Haunt. Seemed like they did it to make more room for the amount of foot traffic that bottlenecked there. You had two mazes and two rides. OK, thanks, I liked the C-band dish for the prop...
