  1. I'd like to use this time to give a shout out to CoasterBob62 on youtube - he makes the best KI videos. I wonder if he ever reads these forums... Also another shout out to everybody on these forums, I have yet to meet a rude person here and everyone's been so nice, love you guys <3
  2. This. The higher price point keeps the Fast Lane lines shorter and makes it much more of a luxury item, which Fast Lane is and always will be. It's pure profit for the park, why would they cut into that? Fast Lane makes them a ton of money, why sabotage themselves?
  3. If they get rid of the season bottle, I think I might just riot. And I'm on the fence about getting a meal plan this year. Last year it worked out wonderfully for my boyfriend and I . But it is a hundred dollars, which is a steep price, and only getting two meals a day really bites honestly. We're going at least 5 days this year, once on opening day, three days for my birthday, and at least one day during haunt -- and its nice to not have to leave the park. Think we should just bite the $200 bullet? To contribute to the discussion about actual meals, I love the Panda Express. Orange chicken for life. And yeah, it's all unhealthy, but eating deep-fried garbage is part of the fun at a theme park!!!
  4. Honestly? I want a maze that isn't very scary. Call me a weenie all you want, but just hear me out! I've never been in a maze ever, outside of an intense local one when I was forced to go in at 8 years old, and I don't know how well I can handle haunts. (Being an asthmatic makes mazes... uh... interesting, if nothing else.) I've heard that Blackout is the easiest house at the Haunt, but I want something a little less... sudden to get my feet wet with! I'd also sell my right arm for an attraction that goes behind the scenes of the monster making, for everyone to enjoy! I'm going into film production as a career, and special effects are my life. I'd love to see the make-up and costume process!
  5. You really do learn something new every day! Thanks for making this great read!
  6. Honestly, The Vortex is probably my least favorite coaster. For a metal, it's rough as sin, and I end up punching myself in the face when I hold the grips by my head. Between how bad it hurts my neck and back, and how great the newer coasters are (Diamondback and Banshee), I'd say this old friend has started to stay past his welcome. Disclaimer: I only want this ride torn down if they get a new coaster to replace it, no sense in tearing something down that many people enjoy unless there's something better on the way!
  7. They are $12 now. (The first weekend they were being sold for $10) Anything to get that extra 40 nickels from everyone! Fixed that for you. BEcause KI doesn't get enough of my money as is! (;
  8. Allergies stink!

  9. I'm going to the Haunt this Friday night, I'm super stoked! I'm also going to be Vlogging my experience and taking video of the park while I'm there- would anybody be interested in watching that? I'll gladly link it to you guys. c: i'll also be doing ride and food reviews, so the video will have a lot of nice content and a bit of editorial on the park. I'm too much of a crybaby to do any mazes, expect maybe one... Can anyone tell me for sure if Blackout has jumpscares or not? It's the actors that get me spooked the most, and having asthma doesn't exactly make me very "Maze Friendly." As long as I can step back and get some air (i.e. Scare Zones) I'll be fine though! Are the Noo-Boo necklaces still 10$ this year? I need to know for... science. [nervous sweating]
  10. Happy Haunt, everybody! My boyfriend and I are going on the 7th, and we're super excited! We aren't planning on mazes, just rides, but that might change a bit. What would you guys say is the least-scary maze, in terms of jump scares and actors? I hear Blackout is pretty tame. Are there scare actors in there? And do you guys have any tips to surviving haunted houses? I've never done one, and I'm afraid I would be scared out of my mind!
  11. Thanks so much, that's great to hear. I'm glad I could get some of my questions answered. c: And thanks for the welcome! I've been a long time browser, so it's good to actually join in on the discussion.
  12. This is my first post here, so I'm just gonna go ahead and shout "Hello!" out to everyone! My boyfriend and I are going to the Huant this year, and this will be our first time. I have a few questions that the site couldn't answer... I know you can't leave and re-enter on the same admission, but how does that affect me as a gold pass holder? Are the regular restaurants, like La Rosas, still open? Will there be locker rentals?
