Well, we’re basically certain ki will get a giga, no debate because every there Cedar Fair park has one except ki, and RMC raptor/trex coasters won’t ki for a while I’d think because ki tends to be late to the party when it comes to new kinds of coasters. I think that if Kings Island were to RMC The Beast it could quite easily be the best ride in the park. Right now I have to ride it closer to the front because too far to the back of the train kills my back and my arms. Mind you I’m only 16 and that shouldn’t be an issue in the first place. But if RMC were to refurbish The Beast (which I don’t doubt they will do eventually considering what happened to mean streak) it would be simply amazing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I was thinking, the chances that ki would receive an RMC is a good possibility in the future considering all the other RMCs Cedar Fair has gotten. But, I was wondering, if you had the choice between a hybrid or an Intamin Blitz, which would you pick? (Cedar Point will have two literally next to each other next year so we can have a better opinion next year.)

Bro I started this topic of course I read all the replies! I have said NUMEROUS times now and I’ll stop after this, but when I say abuse, I mean when people get into the single rider line as a group, and board the train Sitting TOGETHER as a GROUP. When a group of people get onto the train and fill in the seat accordingly to what is available there’s is no issue. Nada. But when people enter the line as a group and board the ride thru the single rider line and sit with one another it would be abusing the line. If you want to enter a line and sit with your friends, have some decency and go thru the ordinary line. Simple as that. Thank you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Probably would be hard to explain for a job interview, and I wouldn’t get one myself as I don’t want any. But since he likes DB so much he gets a tattoo for it I’d imagine he rides it much, and he would pay money for the season pass from a job he already has. True point though.

Omg don’t even get me started. I was in line for Mystic Timbers with my boy Sam and this guy behind us said “did you know a guy died on this coaster a couple years back? He died on the loop in the shed.” I said; “bro are you kidding this ride was made like 8 months ago and the shed doesn’t have an inversion.” His reaction was hilarious when his face was redder then DB. So I’ve heard a few rumors that six flags might gain themselves a/some Gerstlauer coasters in the near future. I was talking about this to friend and he had the lucky opportunity to ride a few Gerstlauer coasters, and even though I have never ridden any Gerstlauer brand rides, I’ve heard they’re tremendously fun. Do you think Cedar Fair will adopt Gerstlauer in the future? When and where would their first installation be? Or have they already built a Gerstlauer ride before and I’m just ignorant? I am thankful for the single rider lane, it’s very useful, it just drives me crazy to see people intentionally abuse it. Anyways it seems they have solved the issue. Just new trains. The restraints are horribly uncomfortable for me whenever I ride one. Probably just me but I would love to have a new standup coaster that incorporates the vest restraints somehow. (like their flying coasters.) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That is very true, and I’ve seen that happen in the line, however many of the people at the single rider line that came up at a group just go on and sit with one another. Personally, I have never really enjoyed standup coasters, but I think that there is a possibility they will come back. Just watch, I b&m were to announce a new model of standup coaster, Cedar Fair will flock all over it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Update: Cedar Fair answered the phone and said that the single user lane was installed as an attempt to try to fill the trains more efficiently. The said that the abuse of these lines has been made known to them and they are working to solve the issue. Hopefully they will deliver their promises. Will add another update on Friday. Oh my gosh, it’s much more then a handful of people! As I said, I have went to winterfest every single day it has been open, and every time I see people misusing the line. Sure it doesn’t say groups can’t enter, but just plain decency would make one think that it is ONLY single riders? There is another line designed for non single riders. And if you want to be technical, go ahead and ask at the desk of groups of people can use the single rider line. As I said in a couple other comments, I asked them multiple times and they keep restating to me that it is designated for SINGLE riders ONLY. I will contact Cedar Fair tonight and ask more questions try to understand why they didn’t just keep the fast pass lane I t eh first place. But let’s just have some decency and recognize that the “SINGLE RIDER LINE” is designed for SINGLE riders. And by abiding these simple rules you are showing respect for those around you.
