It seems too elaborate to be something anyone the park would mess with. What's the point in trolling a few dozen enthusiasts? I suppose it's always possible that during the planning phase there are several different designs floated by the designer, and the customer chooses one. Maybe this is one of the rejects? Its truly grasping at straws though because it does fit perfectly in the presently cleared area.

I believe they had been seen before today, just not talked about on here yet. But the park does monitor this site, so its still possible.

Yeah.... considering Diamondback is 5300 feet long that would be one short lived ride. Diamondback would probably just barely fit in that plot even. Maybe it's going to be the long-awaited Son of Diamondback??

That layout doesnt suck.

Just because of the timing that PDF got put out, it might be the first one. Like someone was telling us to forget the blueprints, here's the whole thing.
-
Anyone else sharing the pdf?
-
The timing seemed a little crazy to me too, but everyone who has seen it seems convinced so far.
-
I guess I'll put my name in for the pdf too, if anyone gets the chance.

I have a feeling this thread is going to turn ugly. Should be entertaining.

Worlds shortest giga? It IS a record breaker....
-
So no giga then?
-
Wow! I think we're gonna know a lot before this night is over
-
After you, they may just leave them out for the next guy.
-
I don't think you know how easily entertained we are.
-
Good information.

Son of Beast RMC Giga out behind The Racer confirmed?

So then height is measured from top of the lift hill to ground right below it. The reason I ask is that a 70 foot decline in elevation in that area is signicant. If it's 70 feet lower than the rest of the park, and ride height is measured that way, then a 300 foot tall roller coaster looks about 230 feet tall from everywhere else in the park. Not a huge deal in terms of ride experience, but interesting from how it will make the park look. (If thats where the lift hill indeed is)
-
They say The Bat is 78 feet tall, but also say it has a 90 foot lift hill though. I'm more confused now than when I asked.
-
So here's my question on this. How do they measure the height of the ride? Is it from the height of the station to the top of the lift hill? Or from the ground right below the lift hill to the top of it? I guess I've always assumed it was the 2nd, but now I'm not sure.

Looks like the lower spine of the green book says something different, and the picture on the calender. I think this poster is a dead end though.
-
The Zodiac name would fit in with this theme as well.
-
I wouldn't consider that the end of the brake run, but I can see how opinions may vary, or what may have been seen from The Beast while on the move might seem different.
-
I don't think think so, because the pictures sixohdieselrage provided a week ago show the clearing going to about the halfway point of Beast's break run, while beastgal says it goes to the end now, and more trees were falling.
-
So after today I'm not sure what's going on. One person says they saw a tree physically falling, while others say nothing is different from last week.
-
It looks like some of the random trees that had been in the clearing have been removed, although I might be wrong. Im guessing the mass clearing for the station and lift hill are done, and tree removal will be a little more selective and hard to see now.
