Look at the scale key on the plans. Use a ruler. Then start comparing different footers and other aspects. You’ll see.

Scale is wrong, why not jack with a few other numbers.

Would that be the height of the actual footer, support and track as well? Which adds around another 10' - 12'?

I'm sorry. I think this is going to be taller than what I'm seeing predicted. We know the scale on the plans are wrong. From scale measurements I'm taking from the footer 53.5 on the plans, (which is 25' 6" long) it looks to me like the lift hill distance from beginning to top is closer to 375' as opposed to 340' long. That means the height would be between 310' - 315', depending on the actual distance. I used the ride electrical partial site plan area 1 to get my scale measurement of 53.5, and then lift hill which shows the beginning footer and top of hill on it. Anybody out there is welcome to check me on this, I'm not an engineer.

Who in this forum will be the first one to get to the fence this morning to see if there is anything new? Will there be a mad dash to see who gets it out there first? As I sit helplessly at work...

I think I’ve spent about 8 hours on this thread today. I’m hoping the announcement comes on the 15th, I’ll be only about an hour and a half away that day and just run up for the festivities that night.

Don't know. I still think beast will be the last one before Project X is announced. It is the most iconic of the park. First time I rode it was 40 years ago and was at night because we waited in line for hours. At that time the park sold those buckets of beer. You would see some of them floating around in the water beside the station. I really miss that theme. Dark at night, eight years old....what a ride!

I doubt it will be everyday....but you never know.
