Maybe....... just because Cedar Fair is in charge with this merger....... they don't want Ka surpassing Cedar Points TT2. So that way Cedar Point can be the flagship park still. (Besides the maintenance and technical issues the ride has been plauged with) With how Cedar Fair treats the parks, this wouldn't surprise me at all. Keep Cedar Point the king. Just like how KI got Orion that was 287 feet tall because they didn't want it overshadowing Cedar Point. Dang you Cedar Fair. They don't like anyone but Cedar Point. Lol. (Just kidding, but it seems like Cedar Point gets the best additions always while the other parks get "less impressive" additions. )

If they take the box down, I want a piece of that triangle of light door as memorabilia............................... Or a bolt or something off the TR seats sitting in FOF's building...... LOL. I'd buy it. I hope you all know I'm not kidding.

I honestly just think that whatever will replace it will be boring as heck compared to the original ride. Lol. A madhouse just sounds like a very lame ride. Just rocking back and forth with a rotating wall, thats it. Not really interesting to me at least. Maybe....... they could put Kings Dominions FOF in there.............................................. Just kidding. That would be absolutely hilarious. LOL. (I know thats not happening) But @TombRaiderFTW Action Zone does need a retheme. A gothic theme would be amazing to match Banshee and The Bat, but who knows. If DC comics and those characters start to come to KI I'll be very disappointed if the park gets Six-Flags-ified. Oh well. They just aren't my cup of tea. If that does end up happening, I'll probably never go back. I can't stand the way SF lets their parks look junky, run down plastered with advertisements everywhere. Thats part of the reason I love KI so much. Its run very well and very well upkept, no ads slapped on rides like Six Flags does, no ugly vegetation overgrowth, much cleaner, ect. Maybe use Banshee's and The Bat's gothic-like themes for an Action Zone redo? That would be cool!!

I completely forgot that you sent me the actual patent to the ride. I can garauntee though that 9 inversion cycle had to make things worse. Lol. They literally patented almost the entire thing. You don't have a clue how many times I've seen that. Lol. The thing wouldve never destroyed itself if it wasnt for Cedar Fair giving it that 9 inversion cycle as V1 of the crypt. They had the rights to use the Tomb Raider IP until 2016 in the deal when they bought it out from Paramount but Dick Kinzel was an a** and completely ruined it right away. It kind of IS their fault. Also, my bad, i thought you were talking about Rivertown. I do still despise the tacky DC theming though. Lol. I'd sell my soul to be able to experience TR:TR at peak performance. Sadly though, that will never happen. At least I have it in Planet Coaster. Lol.

I hate the fact that Six flags plasters ads everywhere in their parks and on their rides, it just looks so tacky. Plus the superhero theming is lame as heck and just too cliche'd. That building NEEDS a top spin. Its what it was built for. Bring back the adventure. Make it incredible like TRTR but without the IP. Tomb Raider: The Ride is still the best utilized flat I've ever seen to this day. It took just a simple intense flat ride, gave it some incredible theatrics and effects, and turned it into a full blown show. It looked absolutely incredible. What a real shame Cedar Fair had to ruin it. I just want something as close to the original ride as possible without the IP. I will always be salty that I never got to experience Tomb Raider The Ride at peak performance. It looks absolutely incredible, seriously the thing you'd find at Universal. Its the perfect fusion of thrill and theming. Why is it almost always that when a flat ride gets heavy theming its a small kids flat ride or a fair ride that isnt intense at all? Tomb Raider The Ride took a simple, intense flat, the Top spin, and turned it into a masterpiece with incredible theatrics. I will always be salty I never got to ride Tomb Raider The Ride in its peak. It has fascinated me for a very long time and I'd sell my kidney to be able experience it, just even once. Sadly, that cant happen thanks to Cedar Fair. I did ride it in 2008 with that 9 inversion cycle and it to this day is the only ride to make me vomit after getting off, and to leave me shaking in fear. That 9 inversion cycle on the giant top spin............ that was scary. Also rode it in 2010 as the ferris wheel in a box. That was awful.It was terrible. I've still to this day never exited a ride with the entire crowd boo-ing when they got off. It made me laugh my rear off. LOL. Even that though was better than nothing though. Sadly though, its a memory now. Dam you Cedar Fair for ruining my dream. At least I have a near-perfect replication of it in Planet Coaster.

Madhouses are lame. That building was built for a top spin, and that's what should go back in there. All they do is rock back and forth, thats it. No thrill in that at all. I rode Houdini's Great Escape a few years ago at SFNE and didn't care for it at all. I thought it was boring and I left the ride thinking "that was awful!" I'd rather have even the 2 inversion, ferris wheel in a box cycle Giant Top Spin back than a madhouse. But what really needs to go in there IMO is a normal Huss Top Spin. Make it like TR:TR but without being themed to the TR IP. Like, instead of icicles, theres spikes, instead of shiva, its a different goddess, slightly different ride cycle, ect. Maybe I'm just salty I'll never get to experience TR:TR ever. I sadly never got to ride it, but I did manage to get The Crypt in V1 of its life during 2008 with the 9 inversion cycle, and the ferris wheel in a box cycle. That was the single handedly scariest experience I've ever had on a ride. Still to this day the only ride to make me nauseous, and the only ride to truly scare me.

A vekoma madhouse in the TR:TR building is a HORRIBLE idea. That building needs a top spin. A normal one, not the giant one. Bring the spirit of TR:TR back but in a different way, not themed to the TR IP but, the same "Idea". Like, instead of icicles, there are spikes, ect. Instead of the hindu goddess shiva, replace it with a different goddess, ect. Like TR:TR, but in a different, non-copyrighted way.

Huss top spin in the Crypt building. Nothing else should go there but a top spin. And a Gerstlauer Infinity that breaks the inversion record in Vortex's plot with a batwing where Vortex's batwing was to pay tribute to the ride. And the same color scheme as Vortex. Essentially a modern day version of it.

He better release that Karen. Lol.

I'm on a huntdown for a very certain sign in FOF's queue. The one that has the "loops" on it. It looks like plans sort of. Its in the hangar by the UFO, sorta by the department 47 sign, kind of. Anyone here got a photo of it? I need a good one please. Thank you! -EDIT: I found a good one, ignore this!!!

I'll probably go to this event too. Also waiting for their winter walkthrough/offseason tour if they do one this year! I did last years tour and it was cool as heck!! Also ended up acquiring a Lightning Run wheel while I was there too.

I asked when I went a few days ago if I could take a few behind the scenes photos and they allowed me to take as many photos as I wanted. I had an eerie feeling walking through that building.............. it was kind of creepy. I had an absolute blast.

Please note that LUBS is the original creator of the base park that I used. I made an ENORMOUS amount of modification, with Captain Nemo and TombRaiderFTW's help, to get it as physically spot on as Planet Coaster can get. LUBS and I consider it a collaboration. He's working on the video at the moment and when it drops I'll show it here! When PlanCo2 drops, I'm going for TR:TR. Again. Except this time I HOPE the top spin is fully controllable so I can get it as accurate as possible.

I wonder what they would want for the restraint pad................. Or possibly a bolt or something or another........................................ Lol. I'm not gonna lie, I'd buy it if I could.

I just noticed, on Google Earth, that the crypts test seats look exactly like the ones sitting in FOF's building. This leads me to believe that the seats inside FOF are the test seats, not two of the seats off the Giant Top Spin itself. Or maybe I'm wrong? Are they actually off the front row off the Giant Top Spin? (If anyone here knows how to get access to those seats, I want a bolt or something off of those seats, LOL(just kidding........)
