Just stop and think about this. YOu dont want to go back because of all the memories of your ex-bf. Think about all those who died in The Va Tech Shootings and how much they would love just to have another chance at life and to re-live all the memories they and were going to mkae later on in life.

Darn i thought that the crowds might actually be pretty thin considering it is a saturday in April and it is the first day it is open but i guess i guessed wrong. Oh well us true Kings Island Enthusiasts will brave the crowd any way.

I might need a co-rider if i go. If i found i am going which i probably am now then i will PM you and i will see if we can meet up somewhere.

So Son of Beast will not be open and of course neither will Firehawk. What else is expected to be closed down?

This week is going to go by so slow.

Well me i am uncertian but it is looking good so far.

I guess you can say i am coming from out of town but i live in Richmond Kentucky which is almost right in the middle so it is only about a 2 hour drive or less. I hope the weather permits because i have now changed my baseball work schedule where instead of working a saturday game i am now working two Friday night games and will be working until about 11 O'Clock so i guess you can say i am a little bit obsessed. But now i have just received word that my dad might have to work and we might have a scrimmage that day buy my mom said i dont have to go to the scrimmage. so lets just hope Dad doesnt have to work so i can enjoy opening day.

I have carried a water bottle into CP many times and they havent said anything to me. Maybe they are just now re-inforcing that policy.

That is footage of HISTORICAL proportions. That was a horrible pun but none-the-less that is some very very nice footage that i am going to watch over and over.

Man i would have rather seen Pepsi in the park than Coke. I am not a Coke fan what-so-ever. Except for that new Berry vault. I have had at least 30 of them they are sooo good. But sadly they arent as good as Surge.

I remember that awful buzz it made when a train was getting ready to leave the station. It almost made you want to go insane. Lets just be thankful that B&M didnt use the same style trains that TOGO used. I must say though TOGO's looked a lot safer than B&M's with just a seatbelt and a OTSR. TOGO had those bars that came across the chest and then the lap bar and then the belt. I also think that TOGO designed them to accomodate smaller people as well.

Seems to me like CF is just trying to slowly but surely get rid of GL and make CP the only amusement park up that way. Kind of sad to see.

I hadnt seen that until just now. Well then i agree with you i think that Kings Island is practically out of the running for a Johnny Rockets.

I just want to say thanks for going to all this work to bring us Kings Island enthusiasts old pictures of our favorite park back when everyone thought Vortex and King Cobra were the best we were going to get. Man with all these updates it is just making me more and more anxious to get back into the season adn start hearing all about how everyone likes the park and hearing all the TRs.

^^Well its not too far away but i wouldnt want to drive all the way to a park that is not better than Kings Island just to get some food.

Wow i really cant beleive you guys thought that they were being serious about cutting down The Beast and The Eiffel Tower. UncleHenry is indeed chained to it and i beleive that if you moved The Beast then you would have to put him on the trucks and take him with it. This conversation just gave me a new prospective on Kings Island.....What would it look like with no Eiffel Tower and a Demon Drop?

Cedar Fair is very very far from Cheap. At Cedar Point you would be better off to leave the park and go buy something elsewhere to eat because everything up there is very high priced. We had a buffett type deal for about 13 bucks a person. i just hope that they do not raise Kings Island's food prices any higher than they are right now.
