  1. Tinker’s Toy Factory has been relocated to Six Flags Over Texas.
  2. Sorry about being late, but another waste of employees (not lifeguards but security) is how they just have a whole bunch of security associates at the Zoom Flume exit. For anyone who hasn't rode it, the end is basically in this area full of trees and nobody is back there. Those security workers could be used in midways where most of the trouble happens. Another example is the lifeguard at the Tropical Plunge entrance allowing people up the stairs every five minutes, and I don't understand why they do this
  3. The cherry on top of this season is that EVEN PASSHOLDERS have to pay for the mazes, and have to pay $60 dollars for a pass add-on that only lasts 6 weekends, and you don't even go to Haunt every weekend. A drink plan that lasts YEAR LONG is less. And I'm not even joking around when I say this, I'm sure you'll have to pay to watch the WinterFest parade. Edit: Just found out that the cost for a single Haunted House pass only starts at $10. Saturdays are 20 PER PERSON, and you don't even get to experience half the mazes because it'll be so busy.
  4. Can't wait to see the horrible Flight of Fear wait times DOUBLED during WinterFest and bad weather!
  5. At least the AI Six Flags used for the Soak City ads was better than this!
  6. You're right, the loop is REALLY small. It's a couple of POVs, a million ads, and then the weather.
  7. At Kings Island, funTV has gotten worse over the years. While some people don't care about it, people at the park 10 to 10 who need to save their phone battery rely on it for entertainment. The only thing on funTV now is ads for Coca-Cola products, and Skittles. KI really needs to take notes on Cedar Point's funTV. They have a good mix of ads, music videos, the weather station, and videos like "Sirens Curse'D Reactions". What's even cooler is that there, each of the bigger coasters have their own funTV station, with different theming. They also use way better TVs and put them in the shade so they last. The park really needs to take a break on adding new rides, and should enhance the other things instead and put their profit into those areas.
  8. A place to dine in like Grand Pavilion would be nice. And you're right, Festhaus is really needing a remodel. The only international food there is really Panda Express, which has horrible and overpriced food portions (the smallest portion is a Food Plan exclusive).
  9. At least the bathrooms at KI aren't covered in mayflies..
  10. Does anybody know if WWC will open before Labor Day? I haven't rode it this year and want to get on it before the water rides close.
  11. Delirium was happy before the Six Flags days...
  12. Today, everyone at the park threw up. So as the train arrived to the station on The Racer, the kid in the row in front of me threw up on his seat. After the gates opened, I told one of the operators (glad I did since the floors for each car). They didn't even clean it properly. They ran the hose for 30 seconds and called it a day. I was glad to be on the next train. Then, in the UFO someone puked all over the railing and on the floors. This forum is full of people wanting the park to hire more staff in the Rides and F&B departments, but what I want is for them to hire more janitors so they could staff them at each ride. A clean park is what matters. What I consider a "proper cleaning" is running the hose on it and then using a disinfecting spray. Closing the entire train isn't neccesary, but the surrounding rows should run through the course. Also, I understand that workers can't see everything but if a guest says something they should get some kind of reward.
  13. BUMP! I have the number ready in my contacts
  14. Even when open, the ride is drained when the guests are gone, and is refilled in the morning. Your able to see this on Mystic rides before 11am
  15. FunPix at the park could use some improvements. So I came up with ideas on how it could be much better. First off, FunPix at Soak City would be a pretty cool idea (excludes Zoom Flume and Mondo Monsoon since they spin around). How it'd work is that a worker manually takes pictures while your on a slide, meaning they could hire more workers, including new ones that could work at the stands at the dry park. Once you get off the slide, you'd be given a paper with the picture code on it. After gathering your credit card, you can head to a stand near the front of the water park where the worker scans the card, and you can buy the pictures. For the keychains, instead of the Kings Island logo, it would have the Soak City logo. Instead of the stand at the ride exit, they could be replaced with cardholder download machines, but also machines where you select your photo and you get a card with the photo number on it (like the Soak City idea). Then you can go to main stands scattered around the park, where you can buy them. This is so you don't have to carry your pictures around all day, and you could buy them at the end of your trip. REPLACE The Beast CAMERA! Seriously, whenever I think of purchasing a keychain I choose not to get one because of how horrible the quality is. No matter the time of day, the photos turn out dark.
  16. If they put a price tag on the mazes, then people paying for Fright Lane have to pay the $70, the extra for the mazes, and if they aren’t a passholder then the admission. It’s $120 with admission and FL, and we all know the price for the mazes is gonna be crazy, so it’s be about $170 for a SINGLE PERSON!!
  17. Post all your ideas for Kings Island dining locations here!
  18. I've heard from someone that you have to scan your pass at your home park before using the All Park Passport, so unless you have a trip to Canadas Wonderland soon, I wouldn't recommend getting the pass.
  19. When there is so much traffic that I have to drive to the park on Western Row, or I'm visiting Soak City, it sucks having to drive all the way down to the entrance. My idea is that they could add a new toll near the Soak City end of the parking lot. They could also add a new preferred parking and handicapped section. So I designed a new Soak City Parking Toll, as well as a brand new parking lot.
  20. On August 4th and 5th, I will be visiting Cedar Point for the first time, and I will be staying at the express hotel. I will be using my all park passport for entry. Does anybody have any tips on where to eat, and how to make the most of your day?
  21. Has anybody tried the specialty milkshakes at Ralph's (adjacent to Jukebox), if so what flavor was it and were they good? I'm thinking about trying one soon.
  22. Antique Autos is most likely to get slapped with the "Brought to you by:" sticker if not already because of all the Progressive ads throughout the layout.
  23. A version of Bands in Residence at CP would be great to see at Soak City since they don't have entertainment. Other parks including Dorney Park and Valleyfair have done this.
  24. Use Soak City as a new area called "Santa's Village." And this will sound weird but they could use the slides that don't enter pools (so excluding Tropical Plunge, Zoom Flume, Thunder Falls, Paradise Plunge, and Riverbank Slideout) as regular drained slides.
