Nah, it didn't hurt. I'm used to getting stapled on rides that I know people checking bars on. It's a common occurance for me. And yes, I went back to the Subway later in the day, and the guy realized that he had made a mistake and had the rest of my change in a little envelope.

I just heard that F/O's restraints were changed. How are they different from the old ones?

Yeah, I noticed this too. Really, what is up with that? That reminded me, today I saw these little girls on AE putting their middle three fingers up and saying "read between the lines" Now, I would expect this from a 13 year old boy, but now a 10 year old girl!

Started off with first ride of TRTR. Headed over to Eagles, but got paired up with the guy I was riding rides with, so I didn't get as many snaps as I had hoped. It seems to be running longer than normal also. After that I had a nice spin on Zephyr, and rode FoF. I then head on over to Monster and have people watching me spin like a mad man on them. Even the ride ops were watching me spin. Well, after that it's off to Racer, get three rides on it (2 on forwards, one on recaR). I had gone all season without once stepping foot in AZ, but I decided that the short lines everywhere were a sign that today was the day, and it was. I got on Delirium, Drop Zone, Top Gun (front seat), all with less than 3 cycles waiting, and Face/Off was only about 30 minutes max. (EDIT: Oops! I left out AE! This was a walk on.) During my time in AZ I met up with FoF and it was at about that time that I noticed something... About 30 minutes before that, I had bought an Icee from the Subway in Coney. The guy taking my order was obviously new, because when I asked him for a half red, half blue Icee (which I almost always get with no problems), he turns around and starts filling up the cup with some red, then some Coke Icee. He turns around and says they don't have blue Icee. I then proceed to point to the other machine which has in bold letters "blue raspberry" on it. It takes him another minute or so, and he comes back with the Icee. I give him a ten, and he hands me change, and since it had taken so long already, I just left with Icee in hand without counting my change. I get to Drop Zone later and realize what went horribly wrong. I look in my wallet to see how much money is left for dinner, and all I see is $2.99. I think of how my $10 dwindled down to $2.99 after the purchuse of an Icee, and I realize he gave me back the price of the Icee instead of my change. Well, on my way back to Subway I see FoF and we both go back and I see the guy still at the same spot he was at when I bought it. I go up to the window, explain what happened, and he recognized me and gave me back the rest of my change. On the way back to AZ to finish the area up, FoF and I decide to ride Slingshot. As we are getting on SS, we notice a giant standing in front of the ride. Guess who? Who else but our very own Tiny! Well, after our ride we meet up with him again in AZ and we ride F/O with him and some of the other guys on his crew (at least I think they were). Tiny says he is going to the new Magic of the Movies Live show, so we decide to tag along. The show was ok, most of the stuff about how movies were made I already knew (if you have seen Money Python and the Holy Grail you know one of them). There were some jokes that were so lame they were funny, but some that were actually funny. I won't spoil them for you, but let's put Titanic + Spongebob and you get one of the jokes. Well that about ends yet another TR from Brad. Before I go, here's a list of people I saw/met today: 1. FoF 2. Tiny 3. Dragon Lord 4. A certain man from a certain other unofficial PKI site that will remain nameless 5. Shadow2k3 6. Ky Man If I left you out of the list, I'm sorry. As you can see I had to remember several people, and I spent all day at PKI, so my brain died. Time for sleep so I can go again tomorrow to work all day!

That picture could have easily been taken during normal operation. Where's the proof that the train isn't moving in that pic?

I don't see why you people complain about it so much, its a great ride as it is. I then rode train to try and get a peek at BB, but the gate was closed so I didn't see much into it other than the tall stuff you can see from outside the park. I did get to enjoy the *feedback* the lovely sp*feedback* speil by derbeast today. So what if he had to stop every now and then for feedback. He did a plug for Beast, so I was happy. After that, I went to Eagles and snapped better than some ACErs that went on before me. Take that ACErs! After that, last ride of the night on Beast. My total rides on Beast is already up to 5! w00t! Also, 2 more things to note: 1. I didn't get stuck on a ride today!!! 2. Beast crew is awesome! I had a great time today, and can't wait to do it all over again tomorrow.

I just got home and I have a real short TR. 1. The Beast documentary is now playing in the queue, and it has the original Beast TV commercial! 2. New lighting effects in the station, they turn on when the growling happens. 3. Both lifts have sound effects, 1st lift is music, 2nd lift is a sound like the ride is cracking and about to fall apart. 4. I met Tyson today. 5. TONS of people were at the ACE walkback. If anyone was there, I was the greeter when you all came in. 6. I added 2 more rides on Beast, another to Zephyr, and added FoF and Vortex to my list of rides I have ridden this year. Part two will be later tonight, I am going back to the park (came home to get some more money and change clothes), and will have a report of how the new lighting effects on Beast look at night.

Well I will be one of the first to see him. Make sure he makes a stop at Eagles after his Beast run if I am not at Beast.

Sorry, I had to vote for Ghostrider. Beast comes in a very close 2nd IMO, but my rides on GR were just insane.

This is a reminder that I will be working on the 9th up to about 4 at Beast and Eagles. Say hi to Brad and say you are from PKIU! Also, I will try to work at Eagles when the park opens on the ninth for the snapping lessons.

Tonight two champions will be named, the king of college basketball, and the king of PKI. The king of PKI is now going to be crowned. And by a score of 14-1, the winner is... Thanks to everyone who voted in the tournament. If Aaron gives the OK, I will do this again at the end of next year, and maybe even make it an official PKIU thing! Thanks to Aaron for hosting the winner image, that whole dynamic pages thing is a pain, cause all the free pic host sites seem to have them!

That was originally two tunnels, but that was combined. I remember them counting 4 tunnels in recent PKI history though, after the connection of the two tunnels.

I just remember them counting the helix tunnel twice. I am wondering what caused them to change the number to three this year.

Well, something caught my eye on my way to Beast Saturday, but forgot to post it until I looked at the pic of the new Beast signs. Beast has always been known to have 4 tunnels, but on the sign with ride stats, it has it listed as 3 tunnels. Does anyone have any thoughts about why they group the helix tunnels as one now?

HAHAHA, I was on the left side of the train, so I couldn't see TRTR. I did see a broom stuck in a tree to the left of the lift. The only explanation I could figure out is that The Beast put it there! I mean, it was at the very top of it!

Yeah, Beast even caught me off guard on my first ride of the season!

It's music that reminded me of TRTR music. That creepy, "what's gonna happen to me?" kinda music.

If they would just make the lift music louder, it would be cool. I got a good listen to it when I was stuck on the first lift (it kept looping), and it does sound good, but when I rode it later with the chain going it was hard to hear unless I was right next to it.

Yeah, I was stuck on beast's first hill when it happened, made me a lil late to my shift.
