Uhh...actually RCT Wild! comes out tommorrow (10/25) for the U.S.
-
lol. Maybe they got SOB's stats mixed up with The Beast's. Either that or they're way over advertising.

I was just looking around at all the Paramount Park websites, and it's pretty funny noting the messed up pictures. Apparently all of the White Water Canyon and Extreme Skyflier rides looks exactly the same and have the same people in them. I was looking at PCW's Thunder Run, and there's a pictures of PKI's Adventure Express.

I voted Face/Off. It is the most thrilling of them all. Second would probably be FOF. Also, how come IJ:ST wasn't on the list?
-
Even if PKI does get Crash Course (and I really hope they do). They are still taking out SGC, leaving them with 14 after this year.
-
Uhhh...no. Paramount would not build a new park with attractions named Vortex, Scooby Doo, and Timid Racer. They would go for the complete movie approach.

Barrel Roll like B&M zero-g rolls. Those are awesome.

Exactly. PKI is the park I've grown up with, and when I'm older it still will be special to me.

Kings Island to Overhaul Children's Area for 2006
MrPKI replied to ZosoBeast's topic in Kings Island Central Newsroom
I assume that this means Beastie will become Fairly Odd Coaster then. Since they said the only thing that will not be changed is the Haunted Castle. I really want to know the details! Winterfest is so far away though. -
Kings Island to Overhaul Children's Area for 2006

Sounds great! At first I thought that the SpongeBob thing was a walkthrough and I was kinda dissapointed, but everywhere people are saying that it's actually Boating School. Can't wait for the official details. -
Since were on the guessing topic. My guess is a Nick Space Surfer and SBSP: Crash Course Boating School.

His name's Brent not Brian. Just so you know.

I've been to: Paramount's Kings Island Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom Mt. Olympus Theme Park Timber Falls Adventure Park Camp Snoopy (Mall of America) Six Flags Great Adventure Cedar Point And soon Six Flags Over Georgia.
-
What I think they will probably do is not announce '06 yet, but tell the date of the announcement at the "Winterfest" announcement. That kinda gives more suspense and publicity at the same time.

I rode it once this year and I have to say I really like the new employee towers that control the water. It adds alot more of an experience (as well as water) to the ride. I do remember the ride op asking how our day was going and we said good. So overall I think the crew is great.

I had an idea about this bearskin rug. If they decide to make this Addams Family Attraction a B&M dive machine they could really pull of some good special effects. First of all make the train a floorless dive machine, then as it travels through the study part of the mansion, someone warns that the bearskin rug attacks....... suddenly feelers attach themselves to the guest's legs and the train makes a narrow escape before continuing to the rest of the ride. I think this could be a good first scene.

I rode SOB this past weekend and saw that the track was still there. It was actually quite cool to see it but sad that it is sitting there rotting. So unless it was removed Monday or something, it should still be there.

24/25...only missed #9

PGA did already have a waterpark that was new in '04. This waterpark though, was the newly built Boomerang Bay that replaced Stealth (Vekoma Flying Dutchman). So this means that PGA's waterpark was originally a Boomerang Bay and therefore could possibly look more fully themed.
-
Just to let you know, DIAA and Lexmark are separate companies that rent out the park for one day. They have been coming for a very long time, but have only reserved the park for the past few years.
-
That is true...they would basically have to get new trains. I still think it would be a better move to replace it with something that has better capacity even though SGC is not all that bad.

I had an idea for if PKI expands in Action Zone...remove Congo Falls and possibly Timberwolf (they could always build a new theatre), at this point they could put a ride in this old combined site, complete the path loop around Drop Zone, redo Top Gun's queue so that it is entered from the Timberwolf site, and then there could possibly be a space for new path under TG next to SOB. This plan would be of use for later expansions since AZ is not really in need for expansion right now. My idea for Ghoster Coaster: Since it seems that NC will take over HBL next year, I see three options for SGC 1. Remove it altogether since it has bad capacity and almost anything that took its place would have better capacity...even a SpongeBob coaster (which I think would be better anyway) 2. Retheme it to Fairly Odd Parents...after all it suits the suspended coaster type better and it is what Carowinds did to their Scooby coaster I kinda hope its the first one but that's my opinion. I also hope that the Slime Zone isn't removed as it kinda is NC's central attraction (no pun intended) in terms of land. As to the Screamscape rumor, I think its probably false.
