Why the hell are you guys so hell bent on a record breaker? Have you not been on Prowler, Patriot, Bizarro, American Thunder, Raptor, Legend, Raven, Storm Runner, Fahrenheit, etc....... None of these are record breakers but they all get really good reviews and in my opinion they are all fun and I could marathon any one of them all day long.

Mr. negativity strikes again. Sorry for being honest! You have to admit that if this is not a record breaker you will be disappointed. No I won't be disappointed at all if it isn't a record breaker. Diamondback wasn't a national record breaker and most of us here love it. Prowler at WoF wasn't a record breaker and people loved it when it opened and they still love it today. Coasters don't have to be record breakers to be enjoyable. Now go eat a Snickers!

I bring my Ipod and headphones when I'm at the park by myself. It's always fun to have a good soundtrack for coaster riding. It also helps to drown out the annoying sound of bouncing basketballs, or tweens having inappropriate conversations while in line.

How do you know they haven't? Maybe you're just not looking hard enough. I'm sure they had to file some sort of permit before they started any type of construction.

The "bad reputation" I'm talking about is not simply about being rough/not enjoyable, but about injuring 27 people on one train, and any rumors floating around that somebody died on it. The more clueless members of the public will simply assume that it's the same ride, but renamed. Look through the Guests Say The Darnest Things thread to see just how clueless people can be. And I'm not talking about roughness I'm talking about the accident as well. And what are the more clueless people going to do if they do assume it's the same ride? Start more horrible rumors?

If it was a smaller GCI I don't know how anyone with half a brain couldn't figure out that it wasn't SOB. If you put a huge sign and entry plaza and plaster the name all over park maps I don't see the problem with adding a new woodie in that area.
