  1. Some random guy? haha. does he come around a corner, or does he just stand there and you have to approach him? and like is there a ton of people watching you? Like I'm fine scaring people but if its like that random I'd be afraid I'd tense up to bad haha. That would make me nervous if theres like 200 peeps watching you
  2. yes it was very good every year until 2004..
  3. Sad to say, but I think it is returning. This scareless haunt is mostlikely returning. Honest question.. did anyone hear any screams from the guests in it in the least 2 years? I mean actual screams not like a "ahh tommy i cant believe you smacked my in a clown haunted house" because I believe thats the only time I heard a scream. I wish they would return it to its former beauty like in 2003..
  4. I'm waiting on a response.. I should get 1 tomorrow to find everything out for sure.
  5. I think Headless Hollow will be there? I e-mailed her about getting rid of Massacre Manor, and she responds pretty quickly, she's really nice if anyone wants her e-mail just ask I'll pm it to you.
  6. I got a verification e-mail.. plans have changed Maze of Madness is returning to Coney Mall. It is no longer going to be under the Eiffel Tower. Massacre Manor is the new name for Fear Street, and we will have a new maze Cowboy Carnage in Rivertown.
  7. yeah I've seen shaggy on the organ, but thats the only one. But even that looks really fake.. I'm not saying it needs to be human like.. but atleast PT had a realistic look and feel to it. I know Scooby is a cartoon.. but he also has 2 movies haha. IDK I just don't like all the colors to heavy and fake for me, but hey everyones got different tastes.
  8. My bad, but they LOOK like Cardboard IMO.. Where is this 3D effect you speak of? And hopefully there's camera's in there haha what was the point of mentioning that? I don't vandalize.
  9. I know this is kind of off topic but I don't like RCT2. Although I have every version(unless one came out in the last 6 months.. I'm to lazy to check) I only find part 1 and the expansion packs worthwhile.
  10. Land of Illusions(Middletowns Haunted Trail) is actually pretty amazing. I went my first time last year and did all four haunts. Each one blew Pki's Fearfest out of the water. Killer Klowns- IMO was the scariest one, plus it was so long. The first 1/3 is like pitch black with clowns everywhere, 2/3 is like Maze of Madness but this maze is actually confusing, you find yourself going over the same path. Clowns and chainsaws scare me really bad, I believe I even screamed once because so much fog in the maze I couldn't see him. They have voice changers and talk to you it's really cool, then the last third is really bright rooms like Circus of Horror's.. but this ones just actually scary when CoH is funny. Temple of Terror- I personally thought Curse of the Crypt wa sscarier, but now thats gone this one is still pretty cool. They reuse alot of props and gets annoying, but it's still unique and has alot going on. It's really long too. Dr. Psycho's Haunted Estate- You start off going through the graveyard, where a chainsaw guy chases you really fast.. I've never seen that crazy of a person with a chainsaw, he was screaming, jumping up and down, saying "I'm gonna kill you!" Pretty believable stuff. Then you go through like a small sanctuary where the devil plays with you, then you enter the actual Estate. ALOT of props, moving props, special effects, fun place. The ending is frightening.. this huge guy 7 feet tall at least(I'm 6 foot thats the only way I could know) and he's huge(large stomach) and he has a really cool gun, it shoots air, and hard air. You have to find the door because it was pretty dark, the air is so hard you obvioulsy move from impact, I smacked my knee on the wall haha I was bleeding everywhere.. oh well it was still cool. Haunte Trail- It felt like it dragged on a bit, but since it was a mile long what did I expect? They use alot of old stuff, and add alot of new original stuff in as well. There are a ton of chainsaws, I lost count after 14.. My favorite part was this texas chainsaw massacre style room.. remembe rn the movie in the basement Jessica Biel and that guy are running through like those wooden crates. It's exactly like that but with alot more chainsaw men haha. Most of my friends loved the bus.. it was 2 busses attached with alot of stuff going on in them, and they are filled with fog. The first bus is like Jeeper's Creepers 2, and second bus was Freddy's bus. It was pretty cool, well worth the $30 for all 4 haunts. I was there for a good 2 hours. It's very hard to find tohugh, so if any decides to go, print off mapquest, yahoo, AND msn maps. They are the same directions but they clear it out for you, so you don't double your path. We got lost, and thats never happened haha.
  11. Very true, I wonder how they are going to pull it off. It could either be a total mess.. and will most likely be, or it could be really cool because I like how the tower lights up in stuff. I wish they included going up the tower.. I never got to do the sewer haunt that was up there. I think thats a creepy place because of how tight it is, and how cold it is up there. I know lines will be a mess but I think it would be worth it. My only question is if they are putting Maze of Madness under the tower, what are they putting in the Maze building?
  12. Katy Huffman told me this through e-mail.. so yeah. I'll go ask her haha. Edit:Remember the freezer?
  13. What did you have to do for auditions?
  14. I was told that Maze of Madness is being put under the Eiffel Tower, and may receive a name change. Massacre Manor is being moved to Rivertown and may receive a new name as well. There will be two new scarezones. But these are just possibilities for now.
  15. Scooby brings in a larger fanbase obviously.. so you have to add that in why people like it better. I thnk Scooby is okayy.. but PT had 3D--people?/monsters? and Scooby has cardboard and it just looks reallyc heap. No offense obviously it cost alot of money.. but it just looks really cheap to me and my friends, Scooby has you more involved so I give you that much, but I still prefer PT.
  16. They were born on 1990(March) making them 16.. you can't be a manager your first year w/o experience w/ pki can you?
  17. See I respect your honest and respectable opinion, not just attacks, thats all I was asking for. I'm not saying Tomb Raider should be outside, I think the lighting and stuff in the building is really cool, but seeing all those statues to me at least, looks like money that could of went to building the next ride, or putting money towards its next event being fearfest or winterfest. I'm not saying no parks should have theme, but it shouldn't be so controversial, you guys were tearing on CP because its only thrills, but were loving on Disney because it was only theme.. someones gotta stick up for CP haha. I personally don't think they should mix because when they do you get KI. KI is a good park, please don't misunderstand me there, but its an unequal balance of theme and thrill I can't tell what they are going for and it bugs me. They do something like Tomb Raider, and something like the Son of Beast. One completely themed, and one not themed at all. When you walk into Action Zone do you really feel like you in an action spot? I just know that the bigger coasters are in the area.. not the theme. I'll admit Coney Mall does have the Coney park feeling going on there, but waterworks doesn't have the theme that well.. and NU is fair, but they got Scooby Doo which is a weird look around when your seeing the Fairly Odd Coaster from the line haha.. it's not themed in a good pattern.. but thats just MY opinion, we all have our own. I admit I did try and state a few facts(wether thet are true or not? not sure haha) in my previous post but thats just because I was mad and didn't form it in my opinion, so I do apologize for that. See Ringmaster in your post you stated you wait an hour for Indiana Jones but 2 hours for Millenium force is that telling you something? See to me, its screaming people love the thrill, but idk maybe I'm just off in that accusation. You said Dropzone and Face-off have an hour wait? The last 3 times I went(can't remember exact dates, but 2 were fridays, 1 thursday) and honest-to-God I waited 10 minutes tops for Face Off, and we literally walked on dropzone all 3 times. Dropzone we didn't even get back in line, and this was at like 1pm, and then again at 7 pm.
  18. Is the tower strong enough to hold a coaster on top of it? Well hnestly I guess so so I don't really wknoy why I posted. I don't know, it just sounds impossible I guess. Takes up to much of the room? I think its a cool idea though, I'd love it to happen, but most likely won't(never say never haha)
  19. They had Circus of Horrors 3D Elvira's Superstition Funhouse(sorry can't remeber full name) Headless Hollow Maze of Madness Massacre Manor Psycho Path Friday the 13th show R.L. Stine's Fear Street Nights or w/e it was called
  20. Taken from http://www2.paramountparks.com/kingsisland...m?ec_id=15#fear "FEARFEST Select Friday and Saturday Nights in October Begins October 7th! Back for it's 7th frightful year! Free with park admission! When the sun goes down, the terror begins as Paramount's Kings Island transforms into the Midwest's Largest Haunted Playground. Brave souls can experience a host of haunted attractions including a Haunted Wooded Trail and sinsiter mazes. Guests looking for a different type of thrill can enjoy any of their favorite rides and attractions until park close. Open October 7 - 28, and running Friday and Saturday nights beginning at 8 p.m.., FearFest features 11 horrifying attractions recommended for ghouls 12 and older. The park opens at 7 p.m. on Fridays. This hauntingly exciting event is free and included with park admission, as well as free to season pass holders. The park closes at midnight on Fridays and Saturdays during FearFest." It says 11 horrifying attractions, I saw 9 at www.pki.com/fearfest from last year, so what do you think the 2 new ones will be? Or do you guess its a typo?
  21. hahahaha! yes that would be overall more entertaining
  22. Sounds good so far, hopefully KI comes on ere and reads your guys ideas because they could do very well with these. I can only hope they read your snd hauntguys posts anyways. Not saying anoyne elses ideas weren't good, but they really got something going with those haha.

    How old are you?
  24. Why can't it be fun for the whole family? I never said that, I sad CP deserves to be number 1, also because they have the kiddy park but don'tt focus on that. You guys whine about all of the theming and pki needs more theming, etc.. its overkill. I'm not saying a theme is completely a bad thing, but since most parks are aimed for the locals to keep coming back and keep coming back do you want to bore them with the same theme? What do you get out of theming a ride? A far-away visitor to be happy.. yes, but boring the locals. You guys are the locals and most of you are bored with pki's theme and think they need an increase on theming, and need to maintain there themes, don't you think the people who have other themed parks are saying the same things about their parks? of course they are! It's like your in a bubble. I'm not saying the theme can't beas exciting as the ride.. but most cases it isn't. Disney World and Universal are the only parks that succeed in that, and you want KI to continue with it's theming, when it isn't that great? Combat read my entire post, your so angry, and only take the things you disagree with and ignore the rest of my post. Read why I said CP deserves the best park award.. I have trouble taking you seriously because the only time I ever see you post is to tear some elses post up. Disagree if you want, check your post history. k? I'm not saying you don't bring up good points, because you do, but you only focus on the bad. I'm serious check out your post history here http://www.pkicentral.com/forums/index.php...sult_type=posts Your right its geared for money, because kids and parents spend more on merchandise and food, but who goes more often? People who have the love for speed and thrills. Who returns every week, month, year.. usually people who love speed and thrills. I don't know any parent-child who can go every week or month because parents work, kids gotta be baby-sat, but teenagers come back week after week. If they had more thrill rides, the teenager numbers would go even more up and up. CP has suffered lately because it's hard to get there from all ways too. It's all farmland out there, many people have to travel far. Plus its basically on the lake, so people north have to drive around and since top thrill dragster came out on May 4, 2003 I believe. Think about that. I'm not saying all parks got to be thrill-packed parks, yes we need theme-parks too, but you guys want every single park to be a theme park. Your all ripping on CP because it is not a what? A theme park. The reason those parks attendance drops in 2 years is because the locals are bored. Why do you think they redid the water park and Hanna-Barbara land? Because people got bored, so it works both ways because many of those parks still make more than paramount parks correct? PKI atendence is fair this year, you would think alot mre because of the new NU and the fairly new BB don't you think? I remember waiting for 45 minutes to get on each ride, now I can usually just walk on the rides. Look at dropzone and face/of, they use to have long- waits, but now it basically is walk-ons.. why is that? Because they haven't put in a new roller coaster in awhile. So you can say its one way, while others can say its the other. I'm not saying they should scrap NU altogether at all and you kind of twisted my post to say that, but I do think they shouldn't be waisting money on theming rides like Tomb Raider and the italian job... people don't really care for those themes, and they cost alot of money. Although you said PKI is doing better this year, they spent alot of money this year, alot of money on TR, alot of money on IJ:ST when it wasn't needed exactly. NU needed the update because kids don't watch it anymore.. but the TR, and IJ:ST spent so much money on it, and did the crowd get larger? Maybe. But would they of been just as large w/o those themes? Most likely. Look at drop zone and Son of Beast, they don't have a theme and peope love them. Why bother adding a theme to something people will already like and won't not come because it isn't themed?

But at least it saves smart people time of using the stupid search engine haha. IMDB is a huge forum, but they don't have a search unles you use IMDBpro which costs money.. well they use to have it but I think theygot rid of it because NO ONE was really using it. It was a waist of space on the site, and people decided to repost stuff anyways. If you don't want to respond thats fine, you don't gotta go "yawn.. read the rules" thats just babyish haha. Who actually reads all the rules anyways? Honestly did you sit there and read them all?(This is aimed towards combat because I know he's like between the 17-23 range..) If you did, wow, you scare me more than I scare myself which is pretty hard.. haha
