the "What's new Scooby Doo" is played everyday usually, and they place the movie "scooby doo and the cyberghost" or w/e its called like every 2 weeks, so yeah he is still on TV, but looks and sounds different than he use to. My 7 year old cousin didn't know who Scooby was until I gave him all of my Scooby Doo VHS's a few months ago haha. H went to pki for his first time 3 weeks ago and loved the ride.

I believe its really possible. Just get in line 30 minutes before the haunts open, get in line for one of the ticket haunted houses.. last year they were R. L. Street Night or w/e and Headless Hollow. Then jus look at the map, go in order as much as possible, the 10 minutes walking from here to there add up. Last year I did everything except Massacre Manor, but did Maze of Madness and Psychopath twice. So it is possible, good luck this year

Wasteland.. I have a question about it. Was it going to be the same scenery from the sewers back in 2000? Or was it going to be a brand new seperate event? I would love to see some killer reindeer who stand on two legs:) but I doubt that would happen. I wonder what its going to be and how they'll pull it off if they do go with it. Edited: Thanks Hauntguy! New stuff: I was reading over the website, and it says Maze of Madness will be under the Eiffel Tower, so does anyone know the final location?

Noah beat me to it, but here it is anyways. Kings Island FearFest's website has finally been revealed along with the new haunts and events. This Year the included haunts are as follows: Massacre Manor, Headless Hollow, Cowboy Carnage, The Asylum, Circus of Horrors 3D and Psycho Path. Similar to Knott's Berry Farm FearFest will have Fear Zones where actors lurk the streets looking for their next victim. These Fear Zones are The Work site, Corn Stalkers and Waste Land This year's events or attractions are as follows: Monster Bash (Located in Paramount Theater) and Witch/Warewolf (located at Starbucks). There will also be a nightly band located at the Bandstand. This year's FearFest is shaping up to be one of the best while mimicking one of the best haunts. Knott's Scary Farm Halloween Haunt.

Maureen is out of the office until the 6th maybe that plays apart on releasing info. I don't know.

http://www.pki.com/fearfest the site has been taken offline.. which can only mean one thing. It's undergoing maintenance so we'll see soon enough what the changes will be for this year.

Oh yeah I forgot about that. Thanks, for some reason it was just blocked from my mind. Wow thats scary haha.

Yea last time I went to CP and just bought a pretzel for lunch, but the pretzel was below average haha it was like frozen on one side, and warm on the other. We took it back and he offered me another but I turned it down and I asked if I could just have a pop instead. I couldn't find anything to eat, but I don't know the park to well and I was confused by the map. We looked for some pizza place, but I couldn't read the map right to find out where it was located. Maybe I'm just blonde? Haha

yea why is that? Do they do that every year? I can't remeber last year in September at all. Is it for renovations and fearfest and stuff? Or just closed because not enough workers?

Lights out for School of Rock & Nickelodeon Parade
StXsteven replied to Winterfestguy's topic in Kings Island
I think Italian Job was an okay ride. Nothing special, or interesting for that matter. It's to short, it's not really themed to the movie, it's like they are trying to be Disney when they arn't.. but like I've said plenty of times its just my opinion. It's way to short and nothing really new happens on it besides some water and fire.. they would have been alot better off putting something else there.. it doesn't really fit where it's located IMO.. it would be better off by Top Gun. MaxAir was fun too, but the line was alot longer at least the day I went.. so its got its advantages and disadvantages. I know we have faceoff, but I rw9ould really like it if they would put in a ride like Wicked Twister, because that is a pretty wicked and fun ride. I would like 1 large coaster.. more along the lines of Millenium than Top Thrill, because although Top Thrill is alot funner, Millenium gives you more and the line moves just as fast. Will this stuff ever happen? No. haha. I would like it, but I really doubt it, at least not in the next 3 years.. which is what matters more to me now haha. Is that selfish? Maybe. Haha. -
Lights out for School of Rock & Nickelodeon Parade
StXsteven replied to Winterfestguy's topic in Kings Island
Personally I loved the Nick Parade, it shortened the lines a good 5 monutes for most of the rides. School of Rock show was okay, but I wouldn't say it was anything special. I love Snoopy, who doesn't? Yeah he can't compete with the popularity of Scooby, but Snoopy looks cooler IMO and if they had one walking arund the park the kids would love it jus as much. But thats just my opinion. -
Since I paid $116 or something very close to that for my pki pass this year(I bout it late this yearbecause I wasn't sure if I was going to get one) so $10 more to include other parks in the state sounds great to me. I've never been to G-Lakes because I only hear about it from the posters on here, never anyone I know. And Cedar Point is a 4.5 hour drive for me so if I go with the axpass I'll at least try and go twice. Sounds like a fair deal to me.. I looked but maybe not close enough, does anyone know whats going on with parking passes?
-
Same as fearfest.. it's just the family friendly version.. so same price.. No news on it from me, but you can e-mail th park if you'd like.
-
Everything I posted was straight from the Entertainment Ops. Manager, some people posted some stuff from talking to who ever hired people for Fearfest because obvioulsy they tell you where you are going to work.. RailRider is talking about what they do at Cedar Point.. theres only roughly 2 posters who completely took guesses but they got shut down quickly.

And it's a good idea at that
-
They arn't getting rid of CornSTALKERS.. atleast as far as I know?
-
roaming trash cans!?! haha that sounds hilarious.. but that could be extremely creepy I think. I really wonder how that works.. do they look realistic?(like garbage cans) or is it just dark out you can't tell a difference?

Chill CoasterRZ your okay.. The point is I want to know whats up with it. They don't seem to look at it much, they never have the fountains on time, at least one of the boats have moss on them, the roof.. well you can read PKIVortex's post.. It's not really a popular ride at all IMO compared to the other water rides in the park.. every time I go it's usually walk on and we can ride it a few times over and over again without getting off and back in line. I haven't gone on it this year when it was a hot day (hot comparing to above average hot days of the summer) but last summer still it was usually a walk on, or you might have to walk around for one boat. Three years ago I do remember waiting 15 minutes on an extremely hot day, but thats it.

what is the new ride for next season?
StXsteven replied to rollerocasterfreak's topic in Coming Attractions
Obviously its not going to be anything huge.. but it will most likely be something really enjoyable because if CF thought it to be a small or dumb ride.. they wouldn't "honor" CBS's wishes. Since they are honoring their wishes it must be something pretty good. -
So what's going on with this ride does anyone know? Is it here to stay a few more years, or are the getting rid of it, or rmodeling it or anything? Does anyone else thing that bump half way down the hill is annoying, do you think it would be a better ride if it went down the whole way?
-
Pretty good video.. top gun track is lookin rusty though haha.
-
thats kind of ruthless.. why do you want rides to burn down? haha. Why don't you just say you wish they would get rid of it.. hoping it burns down is.. just creepy haha.. Now I'm afraid someons going to throw some gas on it and then light a match or something. Honestly though could it burn down? its so massive haha.

It IS fact that they check every morning. But it IS fact that this ride has had many.. many.. problem before, and many injuries before. It IS fact this ride was closed for alittle bit last summer because of problems. Negligent: To pay little or no attention to; fail to heed; disregard: neglected their warnings. To fail to care for or attend to properly: neglects her appearance. To fail to do or carry out, as through carelessness or oversight: neglected to return the call. KI was neglectful not because they didn't check it that day, because they did, but they are neglectful(well most likely) because they have failed to make this ride safe after injuries have occured before. There is no way around that. I understand this couldn't have been caught before the ride it was a freak accident, but if KI would of taken better care(exp: get new wood or new train or something of that sort) this most likely wouldn't of happened.

I read the article, horrible thing to hear.. do you know if the park was sued or what happened with the case?
