To get sea sike is the swaying side to side. Like on a ship at sea. It get's the name sea-sick because it happon most on the sea. Better known as motion sickness. Up and down motion is the worst on rides when you suffer from motion sickness, like I do.

Don't worry, that kind of stuff happens all the time. If PKI was to rename Waterworks than they wouldn't name it Splash Works. That is just as a generic name as Waterworks. Something more elusive would work.

Yes, it was during a test run.

SOB did not valley on the 4th. I said that it happened awhile ago.

You guys can think what you want but it's the truth. I'll try to see if I can find a picture. I remember seeing it awhile ago but I forget where it is. Here we go, I found it. Click Here.

Actually, the train did get stuck in the bottom of the rose bowl one time awhile ago.

Sorry Chef, but the TR:TR segment being featured on Extreme Rides 2003 was from a different film shooting last year, not the recent one. I still do not know when the Theme Park Secrets show will air.
-
Just to let everyone know, Extreme Rides 2003 will be airing on the Discovery Channel on August 28th. I believe the show includes footage of the TR:TR video shoot last year too. I'm not sure what time it will be on though.

The reason why security doesn't patrol everyline at PKI is because it would be a waste of money. Simple as that.

You mean a 4D right? I'd be happy if we got a reliable one.

I don't understand why everyone thinks the staff are so friendly at CP. Maybe people are just used to Six Flags employees. Personally, I saw no difference in PKI's ride ops and CP's except CP's sounded like they were really bored.

You can buy a family pass even if your husband isn't there on Sunday . You and your kids can get the pass processed at that time so that you can use it on Sunday. All you have to do is get your picture taken for the pass. On Monday, your husband can get his processed. As for using your one-day tickets toward a pass, you can only use it toward a pass if you upgrade the day that you bought the tickets for. You could always ask though if you could upgrade it to a Gold Pass. You never know so it doesn't hurt asking. Another tip I have for you is: Everytime you visit the park you have to pay $8 for parking. Since your staying at the Kings Island resort, I highly reccommend taking the free shuttle to and from the park. That will save you a lot of cash. If you would like some more important tips on having a fun and enjoyable time at PKI, you can PM me. BTW, have a great time!

Gold Passes go on sale August 4th. I'd wait until monday if I were getting a pass because you can get the Gold Pass perks and the pass would be good for next year too, incase you could go again in 2004. A Gold Pass would cost the same as a 2003 season pass. If you buy a pass on Sunday then you don't get the Gold Pass perks and the pass is only good until the end of the year.

If you wanted to go to PKI throughout the week, then your best bet would be buying Gold Season Passes. It pays for itself in less than 2 visits and it would be good for next year too incase your husband has another meeting next year. Buying a Gold Pass would shorten the lines too. On Tuesdays, some of the major attractions have a double ride line which means you get to ride twice without getting off. On Wednesdays you can walk on rides without having to wait in line for rides such as: Beast, Scooby Doo, Wild Thornberrt's, and Drop Zone or Delirium. On Wednesday wait for the longest lines of the day to use your walk on pass. What you really want to do is skip Friday at the park. As suggested before it would be a great idea to go to the Beach Waterpark on Friday night. The Beach is the midwest's largest waterpark and it is right across the street from PKI. I am pretty sure that lockers are $5 at waterworks. PKI does have a refillable cup deal that you pay a little extra for a 32 oz and refills are only a $1.99. You can also bring back the cup every day you go back to the park. Make sure you do all the big rides during the week so that you won't have to wait as long as you would on a weekend. The park is great and I'm sure you'll have fun!

No one died at PKI. The woman died at the hospital. Also she didn't die due to riding TG, she died due to having a heart attack.

S-S Arrow. Who wouldn't want to work for Stan.

To answer your question Aaron, I saw the figures earlier in the year, but I came across This recently. It shows the top 30 parks in attendance from last year. You can go ahead and take a look.
-
Actually last year, CP had higher attendance than PKI. I don't know about this year but I'm sure attendance has dropped for both.

They repalce wheels all the time on any coaster.

PKI's height is 315 feet and PKD's height is 305 feet, thus making PKI's still the tallest. PKI's only drops from 264 feet and PKD's drops from 272 feet. That is part of the reason why PKD's reaches a top speed of 72mph and PKI's reaches its top speed at 67mph. Also PKD's Drop Zone seats 50 people while PKI's only seats 40.

Karaoke is done for the year, I believe.

Click Here for the full article. Cedar Fair L.P., owner of Cedar Point, is looking into building an indoor water park at the Sandusky amusement park that would be open year-round. But representatives from The Beach Waterpark and Paramount's Kings Island, both located in Mason, are not too concerned about the potential in-state competition.

In what way? They added padding to the side bars of the restraints.

Why don't you just go to a RCT2 site and search for PKI recreations?
