Yes ALL KI Passes along with CF Maxx Passes purchased at KI before May 27th are eligible for the free upgrade.

Per Linda at KI she stated that ALL Passes bought at the park prior to May 27th are eligible for Gold Pass Benefits. I too bought a maxx pass so im glad I saw this thread

I worked for the park from 1996 - 1999 I started at the high $4/hr range I believe and left at like $5.35. That was when gas was what less than a dollar a gallon (darn!). At that time I worked for the perks, free admission to one of my favorite parks. I will say it was one of the best job enviroments I have ever had, the crews were great! And they did a lot of fun things for us, ride nights, cook outs etc. I certainly hope CF doesnt put a stop to those. Like some of the others on here I drove about 45 minutes to get to the park, I lived in Dayton at the time.

Awesome docu and still my fav ride at the park, especially a night ride. I remember when i used to work for the park and on Ride's nights they would lighten the brake load on the skids throughout the ride so you were jsut flying through. or it seemed like they lightened the skids :-)

hehe ok so i dont have the financial knowledge that most have in here. but what i do think is that PKI is CF's play ground, with 775 acres of land currently owned and only 364 developed. they are able to add rides that CP may not be able to get for space reasons, unless CP removes a ride, builds in the parking lot (*shudder* an SF idea) etc. i bought a maxx pass so i sure as hell hope its worth it so far my interest is peaked but as with everything wait and see.
