There is another launch/acceleration as you come out of the billboard. As you are stand in the que, listen to the LIMs, you will hear them grab.

You can tell you have not been to the park in a while because it is like that for all of their themed rides. All themed rides at PKI (except IJST) have gone to hell. PKI just doesn't give a darn about the theme of their rides.

Actually, Steath/Borg is a lay down coaster built by Vekoma while Superman Ultimate Flight at SFoG is a flying coaster by B&M. Personally, I prefer the flying coaster over the laydown coaster.

I usually go to PKI every other weekend, but I have already been to Dorney Park, Geagua Lake, and Cedar Point all within the last two weeks.

First off, are you a member of a coaster club? Secondly, yes, it will probably be very crowded, it usually is.

Nice report, I am going to CP this Friday for Coastermania and it is going to be awesome. I also get to go to Geauga Lake on Saturday for Coaster Ext. It will be my first time to Geauga Lake. I am hyped up about this weekend. By the way I love CP and I agree with you, it is the best amusement park ever.

Well, seeing as how the tiques are still at the park, we should assume 99% that they will be coming back, and I say that they will return as Nick Car Wash because if you read the description, you control the speed of your veichle. By the way, be sure to get some pics of the water maze for down the road. You may never see it again.

This is not so much a trip report as it is an update. I went to the park this morning and noticed a few new things. First off, the dome is gone and the eurobungy's are in. Secondly, the laser tag next to eurybungy's, is being disassembled. The area where they took your money and the waiting area are gone, but the enclosed part is still there. Lastly, IJST did not open with the park and I witnesses a roll back. It was rather funny and odd at the same time. The bad thing is the weather sucked this morning, but the good thing was there was no one there. I had all major rides ridden by noon.

IF and a big IF this is true and the HW longest coaster rumor is true, then PKI will lose everything they have. We already know SFGAdv and HW will get wood coaster, now it is just a matter of breaking the records. If PKI loses both records, the park will just go down hill. darn PKI.

well every year people are 99.9% sure that they're getting a coaster so yea eventually you'll be right. but i happen to know will koch pretty well and he tells VERY VERY few people about the plans for expansion until the official press release.. so don't believe any rumors.. they're all made up. though we could very likely get a coaster yes. (from what i've heard some of the higher up employees (aka paula) say the skyline coming down the bridge will look completely different at HW this coming year. ok back to PKI. Well, Pat Koch has said a little something. I never heard it from Will Koch.

Don't take the screamscape hint to deeply. It does not mean major ride persay, it could be a major attraction...

I am 99.9% sure Holiday World is getting a new wooden coaster. No specs yet but if you don't believe me, you will in mid June

Has anyone thought about the removal of Scooby's Ghoster Coaster? Also, screamscape just says "a major attraction" not necessarily a coaster.

Who says they are taking down a coaster for 2006? Remember the antique cars sitting in the back of the park. The plans for 2006 is NC. But why not take out TG to put in a coaster in 2007? Sounds like a plan.

Very true, that and the fact that steel costs a hell of a lot more to replace than wood.

Actually, they will not be gone after this weekend. They will be avalible to Gold Pass members everyday through the season (I think everyday). But yeah, just one of the perks of a Gold Pass.

Hell yeah, that means ::knock on wood:: Coastermania crowds during the day should not be too bad.

It goes slow enough as it is. Hell, it looks like it may roll back sometimes. I rode it last Friday and thought that it was decent. Definately not the best roller coaster ever, but I think it lived up to the expectations.

Yeah, they have a wood coaster model of Blue Streak. It doesn't run of course, but it is really neat.

Probably happened during a morning run/first run of the day. Coaster generally run rather slow in the mornings.

Well, I for one would have rather seen the eagles take this spot than some decked out trampoline that I will more than likely NEVER ride!
