Nice find. Just curious who the other un-named parties are.... Disney? Universal? Six Flags?

The following was taken from POINTBUZZ.COM -- Awesome News!!!! I just received an email back from John McClure at Cedarpoint in regards to a question about the All Ohio Pass. The parking pass WILL be on the ID card, and not a parking decal. Here's what he stated in the email: "We recently made the decision to upgrade our tollbooth and season pass systems for the 2007 season, and because of this, our parking passes will now all be going on the ID cards as well. There will be no vehicle decals." Looks like all the complaining about the decals were heard after all! ------------------ Looks like we will have it on the pass after all!! SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have rode X-flight many times, and it's twin Batwing once. Havent got to ride Borg yet. I wanna see if the corkscrew is any better than the inline twists. The loop is awesome!!
-
Living in Cleveland, I hate to see it go. However, I am glad it is not going far. Only thing that will stink riding it at PKI is I will have to stand in line for it. "Them there boys south of Cincy aint never saw a coaster like this here before!!"

I originally though they would rename it to Borg Asimulator, the way they renamed Stealth, but two things changed my mind. BA has two corkscrews instead of in-lines, and if they are fading out the P word......

CBS President Thinks Company Still Owns Parks...
scotty replied to The Interpreter's topic in Kings Island
Keep in mind, this is the same idiot that told Howard Stern it was OK to say he was leaving terrestrial radio and going to Satellite. This generated a lot of listeners in the last few days (and of course made a lot more revenue from advertisers) as people wanted to hear the last shows. Then the idiot tried to sue Howard for loosing money. He pulled the plug on him many times in the past, but didn't do it in the end, and tried to sue. What a Jackass. -
How did I miss that? darn!! My eyes are going bad... I like the waterparks, (IE Soak City at CP), so I will need the Max Pass PLUS. Although I did make it down to PKI once this season, I have had passes in the late 90s - Early 2000s. Cant wait to get back down there. I have lurked here for quite a while, but didnt start posting till after the merger. It seems like a lot of CP/GL people showed up after he merger. It reminded me (for those of you old enough to remember pre-Internet days) having an Atari computer, and logging on to the Apple/Commodore/TRS-80/IBM boards. We are all Enthusiests, and come together on "the enemies" home turf (message boards).

How about the bleachers, guard rails and "Sunday! Sunday! Sunday! " announcements? For the Southern Ohio people who are not familiar, the guy who does that voice has been doing radio/TV commercials using that same voice for 20+ years for Norwalk Raceway Park (a drag race park) in the area, so that adds to the theming for the Northerners.

Take a deep breath dude. That was a lot for one sentence.

I would have to disagree about KK. The over the shoulder restraints dont do it for me. The lap bar on TTD adds the element of danger.
-
But you wouldn't get the perks PKI guests would get. Not only that, unless you are buying a couple hundred passes or work for an airline and get free flights, I don't see how it would benefit you economically. I on the other hand drive a truck.

Screamscape is reporting passes for Valleyfair go on sale tomorrow. The Valleyfair pass is cheaper than the 06 pass, and is good for admission to Valleyfair only, and a Max pass is only $10 more. I would think the upgrade for us Ohians would be moe, as we have more parks in the area, but we shall see... Taken from Screamscape- Park News - (9/1/06) After a bit of confusion over what kind of Season Passes will be offered and at a couple of the acquired Paramount Parks, Valleyfair will start selling their 2007 Season Passes tomorrow. The low starting price is $74.95 for adults and Kids are just $32.95. (Prices good through October 31st, 2006). The big change this year is the fact that your Valleyfair Season Pass will be valid ONLY at Valleyfair and not any other Cedar Fair park. That’s where the new Cedar Fair Maxx Pass comes in, good at all Cedar Fair parks (except separate ticket waterparks and special ticket events) for just an extra $10.

i dont see how KITT could be at KI considering KI is CBS/Paramount, and Knight Rider was on NBC and rights are owned by Universal. http://www.knightriderdvd.com/ last line on page reads "©2006 Universal Studios"

ummm... the season pass page is now blank.

Simple. It is located in NYC. New Yorkers think the world revolves around them, and if it isnt in New York, it isnt worth a crap. Remember the blackout a few years ago? All they talked about was New York. Reporters asking people how they were getting home. Finally after over an hour, they said "We just got a memo that this blackout is extended to Toronto, Cleveland, and even Detroit", as I was sitting in my car listening the whole time. I was listening to Howard Stern the other day, and he was talking about Pedro Martinez (Pitcher for Yankees rival(s) Red Sox and Mets), likes to garden. Artie Lange (sp?) called him a panzy and started talking about Derek Jeter. He made the comment that Derek is a MAN, and he is out "banging chicks, when he is not winning world titles". Well I hope he practices safe sex, as he must be going through half of the 11 million population of NYC by now considering the Yankees have not one the World Series since 2000! New Yorkers automatically assume they will win it every year. I love seeing them fall flat, and watch George spend more money to come up short again, and again... Getting back to the topic at hand, I have ridden the Cyclone 4-5 times, and I can honestly say the Big Dipper at Geauga Lake is a better ride. No to mention the Dipper is two years older to boot!
