Its amazing how much the special effects have changed since the filming of that video. Nowadays, the eyes of the giant goddess hardly even light up at all, and they had at least three different colors in the video. The "anger" effect with the black lights is almost non-existent, and one of the riders mentioned sparks, which are no longer present either. The "unlocking of the tomb" consists of nothing more than a spotlight on the door, and the paper flames seem to only work every once in a while. Even the pre-ride video is showing some ware and tear. The only effect that does seem to work better than when Tomb Raider opened is the fog that is made when the tomb opens. I hope Italian Job doesn't have the same fate as Tomb Raider.

In Random History Facts in the Misc. section of Park History, it states that the Kings Island property used to consist of 1600 acres. As far as I know, the park now covers 700 acres, with 365 of those actually being used. Why were 900 acres of land sold, when were they sold, and were there ever plans to use that much land?

A Flying Super Saturator by Setpoint costs roughly $4 million, which may or may not include the water systems needed for the ride. (This is possibly the "hardware" mentioned on RollerCoasterDataBase) While I wouldn't mind if PKI got one of these rides, I do wish some work would be done on guest throughput.

yea right on, people can feel however they want about a ride. That is the whole point of a forum. Adventure Express is still a good ride i think he was just refuing that it could use some sprucing up to catch the eye off the public. What fun is an adventure train ride with no adventure.

It's of tough choose but mine would have to be The Beast when your on it you don't feel like your even at the park anymore.

The first time i rode i did horiable like 540 it seemed nothing would go off and i even shoot the ones with the lights just nothing happened how precise is the aiming a laser would really help wink wink.

kind of off topic but not really was just thinking about the sit downrestrauntts and r theming put the to togther and thought was does wings have to do with rivertown? i.e rivertown old days, Wings and planes relativly new i don't see a picture matcing there.

My bad must have clicked sent on accident on post above. bingog34 4/19 was saturday not friday just had to defend inraider. I just though the monsters would be 3-D like the men and black ride at universal. The blaster seemed hard to shoot I would aim at the targets firing repeadly and nothing would happen or my score wouldn't change i got like 540 lol.
