The best song ever that I ever heard in line wasn't at KI but at Cedar Point. It's the Dragster song. Republica's "Ready to Go." I think it's the best song ever to put on a coaster.

I voted for Coney too. The last new ride Coney got was Flight of Fear in '96. Hopefully IJ will give Coney a good facelift. Possibly in '06 when we get a new ride, it could possibly be in Coney as well. Plus most of the rides need repainted. It would make Coney Mall even more B*TCHIN! than it is now.

I totally agree with you on the Cedar Point thing. I have first hand experience about that. On Millenium a lady's seatbelt came undone and everyone on the train noticed it but no employees. Finally we got some attention and half the train was on the lift stopped. We were stopped for about twenty minutes. They really need to realize that yes capacity is important but on their rides it's very easy to get hurt or even more serious.

On VAT in '03 we had two internationals from Poland. They switch areas year by year. Like Coney had internationals last year, this year we didn't and Rivertown had them as well as HB.

Do we have any idea when PKIU will be up? I'm not being an ass or anything, but it saying one to two days and it's definitly been more than that.

There was no mexicans working in Eco this year. The last time they had them was back in 2000. We had the Polish this year in Eco.

If they do tear down Vortex soon then you will have many people ****ed off, maybe more than Scooters.

I'm not saying Vortex is perfect. You just came across and said Vortex needed track replacements. Hell if it was true you might as well tear down the whole ride and rebulid.

Are you sure Vortex needs replacements? What if maintance says it's ok. Plus Beast and Racer are wood and need to be replaced once and a while becasue it will rot. Steel doesn't rot there buddy.

Maybe so. I've almost always experienced it at Beast, especially at night. As many rides as I had on Scooters this year, I can't tell you how many times I seen the operators going around and striking up conversations with people. I was very impressed with that. I'm not trying to knock anyone or anything, but in my 50+ visits this season, Beast crew is the one that stands out. To each their own! :-) - Todd I mean, don't get me wrong Beast has one of the better crews in the park, but not number 1.

Believe me I've been there at night with a full station. It's just normal like any other coaster in the park. I think AZ is a good place to visit but not to live. I love Coney and most likely I'll never leave it.

I must be at Beast at the wrong time. Whenever I'm there I barely see guest relating, or the crew being pumped up. It's just the ride that gets people excited.

Vortex might not be themed, but I don't think anytime soon they'll get rid of it. Look at Corkscrew at Cedar Point, built in what '76? King's Island is too cheap? Look at SOB (lots of bling bling there), or even your precious Tomb Raider, thats big bucks. Even Delirium and the waterpark. How do you know Vortex needs track replacements? And if any ride is overrated it's that piece of crap Tomb Raider.
