Just gotta love the CF tease like hydra, patriot, maverick, now "BLANK" It means either the article got the date wrong or KI is still unsure of when they want to announce it. www.pki.com says to look for an announcment on this friday. In a letter I recieved from the park, it said they would be saying something about a new ride on Feb. 3rd. And now the article gives a 3rd date saying itll be on the 5th. Well it wont likely be on a weekend.

Used Vekoma or a brand new Intamin? haha anyways. I am not bitter towards Cedar Fair geauga lake, or Kings Island. I happen to love working for Cedar Fair. I did not come here just to sign up for bash talking KI or be a rude ignorant jerk. I stated once what I think what would happen IF they flyer's new home was KI. Just from what I saw and the rides that they have king's island I simply said it would not be the easiest thing for employees who never worked it before. Sure training helps but look how rough the ride was ran in 01. THEN you guys come and bash Geauga Lake. Well I am going to defend my crew since if it was someone on my crew I would not alow anyone of them to say that, becuase of the end of the year situation and people going back to school we had diffrent people from diffrent crews working our ride. Now there are some ride ops who dont work becuase they love amumsent parks and they just want the money, well geauga lake has them, Cedar Point has them, six flags over george has them, Kings Island has them, everyone does. I have talked to others who STRONGLY dislike Kings Island for somethings but me I like it. You cant go and form opions for people. I cannot represent the park as ONE employee, I got complements all the time and some got complants. I am sure any bad employee is taken care of, i know of 2. Anyways I am happy to have the paramount in the chain and I am not "bitter" "salty" or even "mad" at Cedar Fair or Kings Island.

I was never complained about at the lake. I recvied many complents tho. For the whole used x-flight thing some people like the vekoma flyer, I mean I liked working it and thats about it. For coasters lover it just has a negtive name to it hopefuly KI will change that negtive view and make it a good ride.

Its on the border of Geauga (or is it summit?). In 2 cites, brainbridge and aurora. Liked it? Not much. I loved running it. I would rather ride dominator or steel venom. X-flight isnt on my top 10 The numbers are out of 10

Ill give it a report card Elements=7 Excitment=6.5 Restraints=3 Speed=5 Intensity=5.5 Looks=4 (not really a good looking coaster) Overall=6 The loop is amazing, 2nd to dominator. I enjoy the horseshoe the most. The lift is bad. The ride was designed to recline on the lift hill, due to buss bar problems it did not. So you are on you back as it slowly reaches the top, in the sun its bad, in the rain its bad. It sucks when you get stuck on the lift too. By far the back is much better than the front. And If there is 2 trains 1 station it sucks to have stacking because you are on you back head lower than the rest of you body in the heat or the rain. Not good. Once again if everything goes right... its okay.

The ride never used 3 trains it was tested with 3 and there were stacking problems, if i could remember back to 01. Geauga Lake did both stations on busy days and weekends. It happen a lot. and the day our queue was filled to halfway to the entrance, if anyone has been there they will know, the like was like at least 2 hours. I made a quick visual I remember waiting 3.5 hours for it...

That is personal speculation. The park never said that. Other people love the park. I am sure you two have you reasons to dislike the park's services but others seem to love it. Its a very friendly park and people like that about it. The park is in a process of "de-six flagsing" it. The park will take time to have a good transition, people use to come for the animals now the park needs a new thing to market. The only way to help a park is not by bashing it. The park is a fun place and your turning people away by your negitve views. Plus forums are not chat rooms so lets not use it like one. X-flight has landed at PKI , no its not confirmed by the park or CF but there are photos to prove it. What the name will be? Few only know. What will be the new theme? Few only know. I guess its just one of those 'wait and see' things.

I didnt say stealth was removed for mataince problems. Nor did anyway say X-Flight was removed for mataince problems. You just proved that rides can be moved for other reasons. Oh tell Bill I said Hey and ask him how the family is.

Haha it looks like paramount took out one of their vekoma flyers... noting there are only 3 in this world. With Batwing being built with 2 station only runing one. and the other 2 being moved. Hmm. Coasters have their mataince problems, hey SoB was closed for half the season. Geauga Lake maintains their woodies. We have ohio's oldest woodie. And its still standing. For guest services if you have a problem you can even ask our GM who walks the midways. I remember him helping guests many times. For the annual reports they are sent to CF stockholders.

Hmm.. i didn't know they had many problems with those ride.
