I hope they come through Action Zone so I can see it.

The ride is still in operation they are concerned that it won't be for long if they don't get any more glasses.

PKI Unveils New Hollywood-Inspired Marquee
Xx2cansamxX replied to Dan's topic in Kings Island Central Newsroom
I guess I'm an outcast when I say it doesn't fit the theme of the park? I mean it's a nice sign, no doubt about it, but not for a Hollywoodised park. But I guess that's just my opinion. -
Well I haven't stole any this year I also haven't rode it either. I hate the Spongebob 3D movie.

It's a Greek sign, to a Hollywood park. -
What new film will the Paramount FX Theater offer?
Xx2cansamxX replied to italianchef's topic in Coming Attractions
Oh well. They need a new movie. No Action Theatre movies have ever been good, imo. DOT was the best of the worst I guess you could say. -
Worst possible movie for PKI to name a ride after
Xx2cansamxX replied to murph's topic in Kings Island
I don't know. I thought the movie was pretty informative. But that's off topic. It would be fun though. Topple Towers are fun looking, and what a better event to name one after than 9:11? -
That poster isn't new. It's been there since the beginning of this summer.

I understand what youre sayin Rickster. A guest that doesnt ride roller coasters all the time won't have the same knowledge of how to ride a roller coaster. It is not fair to them to be punished. They did pay the same amount to enter the park, so they should get the same enjoyment out of each ride.
-
I agree, as long as you had fun, nothin else matters. Whose to say what you enjoy doing?
-
We've already got one of them, it's called Flight of Fear.

Worst possible movie for PKI to name a ride after

They could make a Huss Topple Tower and theme it to Fahrenheit 9:11. -
Are you serious? A lot of associates only talk to adults, because teens and kids can be rude. Adults can be rude at times to, though. But if they see you laughing and having a good time (as I do) they will talk to you.

But theres a lot of people that win them just so they can have something to do all day, so they won't be as bored waiting in line.

I don't think a guest should have to know how to ride a roller coaster. I mean that's like asking someone to do homework at recess. Guests should be able to get on a ride, and not have to worry about getting beat up, nor having to worry about remembering to tilt your head here, lean it back there, and so on. It's not the guests responsibility. That's part of being a good ride.

I do think that CP has great ride ops. But KI does too. Every time I go to the park as a guest, I ride rides away from AZ (where I work) where I barely know anyone, and they are always asking me, "Is this your first time in the park," or "How is your day going?" or "Have you rode Delirium yet?" I mean CP does do good on GR but so does KI.

Since Vortex has a lot of people complaining about getting headaches, why havn't they moved on to just the restraint over the lap? Or is that possible due to all of the inversions? FoF has them.

Nobody knowns on these forums. Well some might but they aren't gonna tell you.

First of all SDGC is not made for adults. Hince it is in kiddie land. If you'd read the question you'd realize that we weren't including the kid coasters. Second Iron Dragon is by far the worst suspended coaster I have ever ridden. Id rather watch grass grow than to ride that borefest. I think someone is a little biased toward CP, and it shows through the lack of knowledge of coasters. There is no need for 2 lift hills on such a boring coaster. When I ride it, it seems like I'm always waiting for it to speed up and it just won't. The only thing potentially good about it, is that it is built over the pond. Comparing TG to ID is like comparing AE to Cedar Creek Mine Ride, there IS no comparison.

Yeah, it's a fun crew to work with.

The Beach is 10 times better than BB. BB has basically 2 new rides. Tasmanian Typhoon and that stupid racing ride. Now if you were to ask WaterWorks or the Beach, it would be closer. I miss the tall slide from WW. WW was a lot better than BB. Sorry, but it was. TT isn't even fun you'll find when you ride it. You barely go half way up the wall. Also, it throws you out of the seat. I'd rather go to the beach for just their slide "The Cliff" than go to BB at all.

I've got to go with SOB. It is more intense, a little rougher some say, but oh well, it still beats The Beast in speed and height, and the fact that is has a loop, not just a loop, but the ONLY loop, on a wooden roller coaster. The Beast is a great ride, but this matchup is no contest, imo.
-
I did a little research and found all the rides (with votes) hourly capacity. This is an estimate. SOB: 1,000 The Beast: 1,200 Face/Off: 850 DZ: 550 Delirium: 600 FoF: 2,000 TRTR: ? As you can see, FoF has the best capacity in the park. The line may be long, but have you ever stood in the same spot of the line for more than 30 seconds? Didn't think so. I voted Face/Off. It has the longest line altogether. There are always more people in F/O's line than DZ. DZ is also funner and scarier than F/O.
-
I voted RRR because I like making my feet hit the ground on the lift. It really makes me feal like somethin'. Words can't describe the feeling I get when my feet nick the ground.

The kid that died on Drop Zone was mentally challenged and lost upper body control, and I'm sure the ride operator probably didn't tighten his restraint as tight as it needed to be.
