That is exactly what I did...when we showed up at 9:30 am....the line was a mile long..so we went into the park...came back out at 7:00pm..and the lines were still long. "Cincyboy79: not sure where you are located but they DID have season pass processing open 1 week before the park opened and they do have hours during the week so you wouldnt have had to wait 2 hours in line to get your pass exchanged " I couldn't come during the week to get passes exchanged..because I live 100 miles away and I work for a living.

I was told two seasons ago that they were planning on bring Days of Thunder back to the AT. It never happened...very disappointing because it rocked!

What was the deal with having to stand in yet another line to get temporary passes traded in for permanent cards. That was so rediculous. In years past..you took your picture..and withing moments you had your pass. I bought mine online in October...went to Fear Fest and had picture taken...only to have to come on opening day and stand in line for 2 hours to get my permanent cards. Only three windows open..and they had us mixed in with people paying for season passes....waiting for credit card confirmatios..etc. It was insane...people were so angry. Cedar Fair really dropped the ball on this one. If I have to go through this every year..I am done with it!

I beg to differ....I bought my passes during FearFest in October..and had to pay the $34.95 for parking. I was told since I had skipped the 2006 season...that I didn't qualify for free parking...even though I had been a pass holder since the mid 80's.

So if you bought your season passes last October...too bad you can't get the Gold Pass upgrade?

The Wonder Bread Bakery on International Street...you could buy mini fresh baked loaves of bread. The Bayurn Curve rocked! The Beer Barrels! The singing mushrooms in German Village! Live characters on the train ride! The Enchanted Voyage! Watching the Partridge Family "perform" where the stage in front of the fountains is! The Dolphin Show! The old characters...Fred , Barney, Capt Caveman, the Hair Bears, the Banana Splits! Evil Knevil. Wish they would build a museum on site.

On those 100 degree days...the Enchanted Voyage was th most popular ride

Would like to see International Street revamped into what it was in the 70's..(even the Wonderbread bakery) Would love to see Octoberfest area returned to it's original state. Maybe a retro area...where they can bring back some of the old rides..and maybe a Kings Island museum.
