The day stuff if known as Nick or Treat and not Fear Fest. "Fear Fest" only refers to the night haunts and not the kid attractions during the day

Montgomerys is Wings. People just call it different names

Honestly I think the parade is better. There are new characters this year and new floats. Last year we did not have the Dora float or the Danny Phantom float. We also have Sandy, Danny Phantom, and Dieago (sp?) this year. So there are new floats and new characters. The parade is the same length as it was last year. I think the parade is a great idea because it gives us a break in the day and adds something new. I am proud to wear my button and advertise the parade. To be honest i even wear my button outside of the park. I think it is something worth advertising. I am sorry that you dont feel that way Kat

Hauntguy, I am gonna answer your question for you. Generally they do not take ideas about design from the general public. They pretty much already have everything planned out far in advanced. We have our own design team working on the set up for this years Fear Fest.

New to King's Island- Does anyone know if it shoul
KIemployeeforlife replied to bjedly's topic in Kings Island
ok here is your answer to the characters... Combat you were half right. Scooby is out next to the Scooby Doo ride from 11-6 (i believe) and then as for Dora she is located back in the nick central theater. There will also be other characters out at the same time. Spongebob and Dora should always be out. Today i was out at Spongebob with my cousins and yes the do enforce the rules on height. -
No age limit to my knowledge. The live entertainment i belive will be at bandstand, I am unsure of what it will be like. The dance is at Festhause and i think there may be a dj there like there usually is for grad-night

yes you enter through the employee gate and you can enjoy. the only thing you cannot be involved in is the hourly giveaways

Paramount's Kings Dominion
KIemployeeforlife replied to PKD4LIFE's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
I personally think that Ki should get Hypersonic if PKD is gonna get rid of it, or we should get a ride like Ricichet those were my fav two rides there -
I will be the big 21 in june.. june 22nd to be exact
-
actually they only got 30,000 tickets. The rest of the people in the park was the general public

Which Paramount's park offers the best thrills?
KIemployeeforlife replied to moore's topic in KI Polls
I have to go with PKD... Last year i got to go on vacation with 3 of my best friends there and man did we love hypersonic and Ricochet. -
The price of parking is 9 bucks

thats right now, yesterday they said there was a chance of snow so it keeps changing constantly. it would be awsome if the weather was good for opening weekend.

There was a CMT show. It was not there last year, but it was the year before.
-
There will be no Nick show for the kids, but the characters will be walking around the old Nick theater like they did last year, and there is even talks about them comming back to front gate for half a day like they did in the past
-
It is supposed to be a different version of tuned in...so yes like everyone is sayin it is Tuned in. and then there will be a show at the Back Porch (i forget what it is called Shman do u remember?) and then Star Search Live will be back again
-
School of Rock will be taking place at the wonderful Paramount Theater. The show will not be open for pre-season though
-
actually none of the bulidings have lights on them now. When the park was closed they were just seeing what it would take to do one building and tryin to get a feel of what to do if they were to bring back winterfest. If winterfest were to come back the decor would not go up until around fearfest time
-
I wouldnt go that far...(just kidding). You guys did great on that i know i had issues at night when i had to push it back.
-
The song never goes away and never will. It will always be in the back of your head waiting for that one moment to come out. The next step is breaking out into the dance.

Honestly I feel that the parade was awsome the entire time. True we got a little brunt out but we all had the energy and gave it our all even at the end. It all depends on who you ask. There are those employees who hated the parade because they would be yelled at everytime they would walk in the parade path to go to oscars. Then there were even those employees who came on their break just to watch us and take pics (Shman you should know who i am talkin about). We all tried our very best to keep up the 100% attitude and i think we did a pretty good job at it. We all had our rituals before the parade music began just to get the energy flowing and if you would see us even after the parade some of us still had that energy goining while we were doing our normal portion of our job.
-
True....but those rides supervisors were not there every single day of the parade, like some of the Entertainment folks were......talk about burnt out, doing that parade + your regular daily job for a month straight. Hey i loved it. Yes i got a little tired here and there. Once the music started and i walked out of those gates and i saw people with big smiles i got soo much energy. Even on those rainy days. I know we were all happy when it was over, but it was a nice break to the normal schedule. I am glad they are bringing it back and i am excited about the new floats and other changes they are making.

No that was a one time event. They held many more events at PT this year than in past because everyone is proud of how the remodeling turned out. This year they had "VH1 persents: I Love the 90s" episodes. I thought it was great how they had all the special events at PT. not only did it give variety to the entertainment department, but it made the department known

Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events
KIemployeeforlife replied to familyman's topic in Kings Island
I saw it the other day and liked it. I thought it was very well put together although it did not follow the books in order (plus it was only the first 3). I would say go and see it -
im voting for scooby-doo and the haunted castle because i got my highest score ever this year on it, yea it was only like 1012 but still it was the best i have ever done
