  1. Can't wait for Goliath next year. Medusa looks effing amazing.
  2. No, they don't unfortunately. The Beach has the Cliff and the Bonsai
  3. The Beach is far from the best waterpark, but it's totally a great 90's waterpark. It doesn't have any newer tech slides, but it's got the best of the best from the old days. And I the only speed slides in Ohio from what I know.
  4. Thanks for the comments and the help to edit. Here's some more.
  5. Okay, my phrasing can use some work, as always.
  6. Scooby Doo's Spooky Coaster at WB Movie World, Australia.
  7. That video was absolute trash. If you didn't see the announcement video...save yourself. I was hoping for a dark ride! Maybe for 2015 they'll RMC Mean Streak. The locals hate the ride, the visitors hate the ride. Just re-vamp it already so I can ride it again.
  8. If someone could edit the Title of the Thread to say it now has photos, that would be stellar.
  9. I honestly thought Maverick was running much smoother than it was in 2009; when the back row was very vibrate-y. I was pleasantly surprised. The last time we were there the car came back with a shredded wheel; but hey I forgot how wild the ride was, it's absolutely amazing. It's crazy good and I love it for what it is. I think it's Intamin's finest ride for sure. It's definitely my favorite steel. That's how you get more people into the gates of your park and remembering your rides.
  10. OI. I will not have a This vs. That discussion in my thread. Look at the pretty pictures. Comment, criticize them. Talk about Cedar Point's rides. Thank you And no, of course I didn't literally mean Maverick's wheels are off the track the whole ride. Just on the airtime hills.
  11. Check out how Maverick's wheels never touch the track.
  12. I'm not going to work that much to enjoy a ride. I want to put my hands up and enjoy the ride ):
  13. So I'll post some more thoughts and pictures later; Millennium Force, Maverick, Dragster, Raptor, Gemini, etc were all running fantastic as usual. There were no crowds on Thursday, I believe because storms were forecasted - but for in the evening and it didn't end up raining until 10. I got Fast Lane on Friday and ended up getting double digit rides on everything. Five rides on Dragster. A few in the front, the rest in the back. New is Gatekeeper. The last wingcoaster in the USA for me to ride. Oh boy. The front entrance is very refreshed and nice looking, a lot more open so it doesn't bottleneck. I like the plaza for the ride as well. I actually thought the best part of the ride was the inversion next to the keyhole; had a nice little snap to it. But it rattled/bounced unlike X Flight or Wild Eagle (Which were both very smooth) and Gatekeeper was pretty smooth in row 2, bouncy/rattle-y in row 4, and really uncomfortably rattle-y in the back row. It didn't matter the inside or outside seat. The ride just kind of shakes you, so you shimmy down further into your seat so the restraints can boa-constrict tighter against you from what I experienced. My most pleasant experience is row 2. It's a beautiful project and looks very nice, is fun to take pictures of; but I'm not happy with it, especially compared to my other fun rides I've had on Wild Eagle and X Flight. I'm not going to hold the vest off of my chest for the whole ride; I shouldn't have to do that, I want to be able to put my arms up and have fun! Sigh. I really hope Banshee's restraints aren't bad like these next year. It sucks because I want to ride the ride, but I'll come off it complaining; I love the keyhole, the immelmans, etc because it's something different and it's got a fantastic location. But that back row ride I had was one of the worst coaster experiences I've had in the last couple years. Overall I'd give it a 3.5/10. If I was comfortable the whole ride it'd be a 6/10.
  14. I prefer the front over the back. When I worked on Diamondback, the Behemoth crew visited and unanimously decided that Diamondback has stronger, better air in the front seat; but Behemoth has better air in the back.
  15. I rode Diamondback the other day. Had no troubles. It ran like it normally does; it's got -G moments and floater air. It's an antigravity machine. Honestly I like Raging Bull, Goliath, and Diamondback all just about the same.
  16. Personally I only get air in the front row when the train hits the trim on the hill before the on ride photo. Allllright Youngstud; you personally only get airtime in the front on one hill on Diamondback. You must have a gravitational problem when you ride non Intamin rides. It's that little switch in your brain, just give your head a slight smack before you ride with a beer bottle. You should be good to go.
  17. Diamondback has strong air in the front and back over the first half of the ride. I do like to ride in row 4 and 10 to get a mix of floater and strong air, though. Texas Giant anxiety...LMAO! HAhahah! I love it!
  18. Nothing's wrong with the ride or dangerous. This is what happens with social media- every single little iddy bitty detail is ridiculed and analyzed, and really for silly reasons. "I'll never think of Diamondback the same way again." Right.
  19. KIC fans are so jaded. "Not really breaking records here" Are you serious? Maybe I'm the only one who relishes the ride duration. I love Batman the Ride, Mr. Freeze, Top Thrill Dragster, etc; but I really love a long ride. So I'm very pleased with the longest invert. Most of all: a zero G at Kings Island. New inversions, a steep drop. I'm not too keen on the restraints. I hated the wing coaster restraints...we'll see how they are. This ride might not be intense, like the early B&M's, but with the top speed in the second half of the ride, it's got promise. Hopefully no trims! Can't wait to ride it, but keeping my expectations low - Like it will be like a Silver Bullet, Patriot, OzIrus, or Black Mamba.
  20. This has happened before when I worked once or twice. Honestly I was pretty skeptical of the guests that said it. That's why you have to "have three clicks" to ride.
  21. No one knows who will make this coaster. But looking at the all the clues and information in past 6 months, it won't be an Intamin.
  22. This is hilarious how people can not stop responding the YoungStud's comments over and over again. Big Sexy's comments on Theme Park Review just got skipped over. No one responded to his posts. If you don't like what someone says, you can show some self restraint and not respond. You know you're just going to start up a B&M vs Intamin argument that is based on only opinion. Dear lawdy.
