Do they? I'm pretty sure Son of Beast was at one point the tallest wooden coaster and Beast is still the longest wooden coaster. Sounds very small to me too...

Intimidator 305 track was in containers I believe and that was even closer being in Virginia.

Seems as though Intimidator 305 has been closed since Monday due to need for a custom gear box part for the lift. Also seems like there may be an issue with getting the part into the building that houses the gear box. Also the train stuck at the top may need to be taken down by a crane. Seems like I305 might be down for awhile, oh the problems for Intamins continue...Any guesses how long until it will be before its back up and running? Picture via Screamscape

Gad198 brings up a good point, rumors I've been hearing is that Mack could be the manufacturer for the Dollywood ride. Now I am not saying the track is or isn't Intamin that was spotted, but it's a possibility. By the way does Mack have a USA plant? If so where?

Hilarious how people think they know what's coming... Similar to people thinking it was completely obvious that SOB would come to this demise because they took their time to observe their options for its future.

I am amazed to see everyone's opinions on the stereotypical Kentuckian. I don't get why people must assume that all Kentuckians are like this. I for one am none of the stereotypes and sadly I have to live among these other stereotypical people. Also the Louisville area is very urban and not many "white trash" or "hicks" are found there.

Apparently the leaked video showed that Holiday World is getting another water coaster. It will break the world's longest water coaster record and is named Mammoth. (not official)

Yes CP has a great variety, but they are not tied for the most coasters in one park. Six Flags Magic Mountain added 2 coasters this season making them the highest with 18 versus Cedar Point's 17.

Dick Kinzel said at Coaster Mania 2011 in response to a question about SoB that a fix would be around $20 million from Rocky Mountain. GCI woodies go for about $8 million ex: Prowler at Worlds of Fun. It is much cheaper than what treatment is in talks for SoB.

I thought about it, but the rest of my group wanted to go to Diamondback. Last year when I went to Kings Island I went straight to Firehawk and it broke down like second train into the day.
