  1. ^ ! I love SFGAm! It was actually a really good clean park, with enthusiastic employees and of course probably one of the best collection of rides at a Six Flags.
  2. The past few years it has been pretty warm outside for opening days, and last year it was pretty sunny. I will be going opening day, but I'm honestly not extremely excited. I mean I am happy to get to go back to KI, but with last years opening day, I doubt any upcoming year will beat it. Waking up hours before the park opened and standing for hours was incredible. I would do just about anything to relive that day.
  3. Well when you come to Indiana Beach, how about you also come to SFGAm? Adam mentioned he might do that this summer, and I'd be coming too. It'd be relatively cheap, you have a SF Pass, and IB isn't too expensive. For WoF and SFSTL, I have yet to go to either of those parks and would love to, so maybe if you got a few people from KIC to go, the gas would be cheaper for everyone. I can't really help you with SFOG, I've been twice, and hopefully I'll be going again this summer. I have family in Atlanta and we usually go every summer but we didn't the past two. I've been talking to Adam about a mini east coaster trip, and if it's cheap enough and my parents let me, I'll be going with him. I am sure he wouldn't mind more people coming. Im also interesting in a Intimidation tour on Negative-G forum.
  4. ^Even if the 'Thriller coaster' is a giga!?
  5. Well I searched and it hasn't been mentioned before so I thought I'd post it. http://travel.latimes.com/daily-deal-blog/index.php/michael-jackson-them-6224/ My opinions: -I bet that the 'Thriller themed coaster' will be a Wacky Worm with a Michael Jackson cutout in the station. -If it does open, it will close within two years. -Gary Indiana!? Come one, there will be a homicide in the park within the first week of being opened! -It will be opened years after Michael Jackson died... -People in Gary Indiana can't afford to go to an amusement park! -I will go, but just to get the credit, on my way to SFGAm!
  6. I'll do what Jackson did. -About 60% of all my shirts in my closet have something to do with coasters. -My room has 6 coaster posters on the wall (Don't have room for anymore because of windows, doors, and my giant futon bed I hate. -The side of my closet without clothes in it is filled with Amusement Park related items. -I often capitalize the letters of amusement park related words that don't need capitalized, but I think they are so important that they do need capitalized. -My 'favorites' on Firefox are (in order)- KIExtreme, KICentral, Ataricommunity, RCDB, Facebook, Youtube, Negative-G, Theme Park Review, Coaster101, Coasterforce. And soon #1 should be a new Indiana Beach forum! -Most vacations my family goes on HAS to include a trip to a Theme Park! -As soon as I get home from school I go straight to KICentral and see if any thing interesting is going on, than go to all my other 'favorites.' -I have photo frames on my computer desks, and inside them is not pictures of my family or friends, but instead photos of roller coasters!
  7. http://www.planetsnoopy.com/kingsisland/ ^Planet Snoopy website. http://www.planetsnoopy.com/kingsisland/parkmap.cfm ^Park map. And yes, Son of Beast is still here!
  8. I would wait 4 hours for my favorite ride if every other ride in that park had lines that long too. But if the park was just 20 minute wait times with the exception of that ride, I would not ride it.
  9. I will! On May 1st. (guessing thats the opening day.) Also, what is your favorite seat on Hoosier Hurricane, I sat in the very back and got little airtime.
  10. Why row 3? That is the front seat of the second car.... I've only ridden Cornball 3 times so far (front, row 3, and second to back seats) and row three was the best, or atleast to me it is. This summer I plan on going to IB many many many times, and hopefully reach into the hundreds on Cornball.
  11. ^ I have ridden Iron Wolf, Mantis, and Georgia Scorcher and out of all those my favorite is Scorcher, than Wolf, and than Mantis. The small B&Ms are actually pretty smooth and very well paced. There is a chance I'll be going to Carowinds next year (doubt it though), and if I do, Vortex is actually one of the rides I'm looking forward to most.
  12. I'll probably go to Diamondback and be on the first train out of the station (Hopefully!) Than once ERT is almost over, I'll get as close to SOB (if open, if not, than Drop Zone) as possible and once the rope drops, jog towards either one and be on the first cycle! And also, on Indiana Beach's opening day (I plan on making IB my new homepark) I will be riding Cornball first, in row 3!
  13. Let me correct myself, I meant to say "Flying Ace's Aerial Chase" and it is actually a red-orange supports and white track (the white might only be temporary though.
  14. Runaway, I mean Woodstock Express is being repainted. Right now it looks like it's a cream color for the track and a rustic red/brown for the supports! I hope KI's is the same color, it'll look great next to Rivertown.
  15. Sounds exciting! Sucks Xcellerator is closed, I think it's supposed to open at the end of this month. It also sucks that Ninja, and Deja Vu were closed. I always here people talking about how bout Superman: The Escape is. I personally think it looks fun, it's pretty much Rollback: The Ride and it looks like you'd get good floater air on it. On Goliath, did it make you dizzy at all, cause I've heard that it (and even more, Titan) make people 'gray out' a little bit. I also agree SFMM lacks flat rides, they really need a good indoor themed attraction, a Drop Tower, and some more flats like Delirium and maybe Xcalibur at SFSTL. I can't wait to see the photos!
  16. This just in... Kings Dominion has renamed Intimidator 305 to Intrimidator 305. Yes that is right, we've got a trim now...
  17. That is cool. So did the car drive through all these parks? Cause it seemed a little high up for a person, but I wouldn't think they would have a car driving through the park with all the people.
  18. Universal Studios Orlando, Islands of Adventure, Sea World Orland, and Hershey Park all have this awesome feature on google maps! Go onto aerial view above the park, than press the yellow 'person' looking thing and hover it over one of those parks than drop it where you want. You can pretty much walk around the park and get awesome views! Best of all it's from summer 2009, so Manta, Rip Ride Rockit, and Fahrenheit are all there! Check it out!
  19. ^ Wow those are some nice photos! Especially the last two. Once it snows I'll take a photo.
  20. That is great news! Traffic always slowed down to 50-esh in that area, not I'll probably save 15 minutes!
  21. 129.3 Miles away. It says a 1 hour 59 minute drive, yet when my Mom drives it takes 1 hour 40 minutes, and when my sister drives it's 1 hour 30 minutes. This upcoming season I'll be driving there so hopefully I can get there pretty fast! And maybe the construction on 275 thats been going on for years yet nothing has been built... will finish!
  22. I drove by Kings Island earlier today and your not going to believe what I saw! Son of Beast is still standing, but more shocking... Invertigo and Diamondback are being removed!

  24. Boomerang Bay opened in 2004, not 05'. And you spelled many things wrong such as Millennium, and Intimidator. I wrote one of these in that decade of coasters thread.
