How much money would you pay to be the first to ride Diamondback? Being in these bad economic times and my hubbie being laid off; I don't think I could afford a pricey amt; as much as I would like to be part of it and that it is for an awesome cause ! I think I'm going to take advantage of the Road Warrior weekend and it's early ride times. (we have season passes) What do you think will be the highest bid? Just a guess. Cause I know it's not going to be $50 bucks Maria

I remember when The Beast first opened and yes I'm probably showing my age; but anyways, the line started where flight commander was and we waited 2 - 3 hours to get on. But it was so worth it! Someone mentioned a year or 2 after Beast was opened they added more tunnels? Is this true? I don't remember that but that was a long time ago ! Maria

It was funny for I did not understand at first. I was thinking "rain" was some ride terminology that I had never heard before. It does sound pretty funny once I went back and looked at it ! It could be rain!! Maria

I don't see anthing either, but it looks like the snow is melting and making some interesting lines that colud resemble something new on the site. I was looking at the web cam this morning; and it looks like there is some kind of rain in the storage shed , although it may just me needing to get my eyes checked! Maria

What are the chances of KI lowering the min height req to 52 inches by opening day? My 11yr old daughter is right at 53 inches and wants to ride this so bad. She has ridden Maverick and ML several times! Also when do they usually start test runs? I'm assuming March or so. Sorry for all of the questions as I have been lurking the site over the last year. Thanks for all of the info as I can not wait for this coaster!! Thanks again! Maria

Wow! I can't believe how much has changed. Granted I was 30 years younger then!! Can't wait to see the finished skyline come this April! By the way, I live in Springfield and we are getting slammed with an ice storm! I wonder how this will affect construction today? How is the weather down in Mason? Maria

Just a question as I'm new here and I don't know alot about roller coaster construction; but what is the usual time frame for building a coaster? I was at Cedar Point a couple times when they were building Maverick and I don't remember seeing as much progress as we're seeing at KI. It seems it's going along quicker then I imagined! Not complaining; I ;can't wait for opening day 2009!! Thanks, Maria
