No those examples are hybrids. Gemini is a minetrain coaster.

But each side has 2 trains. Yes 12 more people can enter at one time per train but that wouldnt cut out 45 mins to 1 hour out of wait time

ok i dont know about you, but isnt it neat to think that SOB is the only hyperwoodie, and is the tallest wooden coaster on the planet? Last time i checked Voyage was steel structure and wood track therefore is NOT i repeat NOT a wooden coaster. Saying that SOB and Voyage are of the same design is like saying FaceOff and Topgun are of the same design.

OK i know i am a dork but here it goes All i could picture was Kinzel, and the managment of KI sitting in the International Restraunt eating hotdogs with a spinning wheel determining which ride would be closed down next. haha

Why is everybody hatin' on SOB? Ok i rode it twice on the 4th during KIC: the event. Both times i rode it very back seat in both trains. IMO it was about as rough as the premier trains in the front. I actually believe the back seat in The Beast was far rougher saturday. My question is why is everyone now on the "tear it down, get rid of SOB" bandwagon?? We had to wait 1 hour and 1 hour 20 minutes respectively for our rides. So i would think the GP actually likes the ride. For comparison Racer (which we rode right after SOB) was 15 minutes for back of the backwards train, 45 minutes for front seat of Vortex. I love KI, and i enjoy every ride at KI except for AE, and TR:TR (i liked it when Paramount opened it and the effects worked). Just my 2 cents.

Man why does everybody hate Son of Beast? First of all i will agree that it does kinda get boring after the former loop area (i wish they could have intamin or PTC design wooden trains that are light and can handle the loop) but i thought that i had heard that Sonny was supposed to have alot more track after the loop, (and maybe the second helix) but it would be longer than Beast, so the park had them redesign it to be shorter. I dont know about you guys, but i enjoy sonny. It is a neat to see it ominously waiting over the Action Zone.

Too bad KC couldnt go back in there... *remembering when he rode KC* too bad, im sad

I agree that we could use a stand up!! And since we all saw that they still have the King Cobra sign, they can call it King Cobra!!

Look its me the one on FH laying down with the white shirt, kahakis, and adidas!! also i was stuck on FH also. I think it was something with the release on the vest? IDK i have always ridden front, so the near back was something new to experience!!

When i got there it was a big sigh of relief to see the ticker say "Rides closed today - Tomb Raider" Not that i dont like tomb raider, but it really needs to be operating 100% or not at all. Just my 2 cents. Also i finally got a ride on Son of Beast, I havent been able to ride it since 2004, due to not going to the park, (2005 season), people not brave enough (or not stupid enough!!!) to ride it, or it being down.

I just wanted to say i loved it. I can not wait to get to go again next year! I also agree about seeing some of the parts shops at ki, i would like to see that!! Other than the SOB tour, i had a wonderful day. Thanks to everyone that put this on, and to everyone there! It was cool to get to meet alot of you!

I rode yesterday in the last seat of both trains (yea 2 rides and the KIC event!) They were both enjoyable. A little rough, but remember this is a 218' wooden coaster goin about 80mph. The rosebowl was not as bad as the helix on beast, beast was angry yesterday morning and took it out on us guests!! anyway it was an enjoyable day, and im glad that every is up and running again!
