  1. CNBC claims it is the Tallest and Fastest in the World. https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=10153307298199369&fref=nf
  2. And soon it will be world wide I bet. The question is who gets it first Disneyland or their boats?
  3. Hopefully Mr.Chapek can bring more concern for rising competition. http://www.orlandosentinel.com/business/os-bob-chapek-disney-chairman-20150309-story.html
  4. I prefer to think of this as a memorial to Fairfield high school.
  5. Not quite as a person who has lived in Orlando and Cincinnati and driven to Tampa and Portsmouth multiple times. Orlando to Tampa is about one less excruciating hour of drive. Cincy to Portsmouth is 2 hours of boring. I prefer the Atlantic beaches over the Tampa beaches. Daytona and Cocoa Beach are great.
  6. There is on the train.
  7. To add what someone else mentioned my dog was freaked out a lot by Invertigo. Location was an issue but I do wish they kept it. As a Kentucky resident and a dog owner who has bad separation anxiety it will be harder to visit this year. Throw on top now they want to charge a toll for me to get to Ohio. I'm starting to think it may be a good thing I haven't renewed my passes.
  8. Yes they do. Colonel who has worked at both MK and KI. One he will return to eventually, the other probably not. The higher pay in Ohio had nothing on the magical experiences in Florida.
  9. Orlando is breaking more records. http://www.orlandosentinel.com/business/tourism/os-starflyer-vue-at-360-orlando-20141118-story.html
  10. I'm a Disney College Program Alumni Association member as well.
  11. Fairfield to Kings Island is a pretty lengthy drive for a seasonal job. I wouldn't recommend it, honestly. I drive from Fairfield to Loveland every day (which is a slightly shorter distance even) and the commute has been irritating enough to prompt me to look for places to live that are closer. And that's for my full-time career. I personally could never justify that commute for a seasonal job. Of course, I'm not you, and if it's something you really want to do, Fairfield is a great place to live. It's where I've lived my whole life (besides the four years I spent in New Concord, Ohio, the happiest place on the planet) and I think I turned out pretty good.Ultimately, what I think it comes down to is, are you looking to work at Kings Island for the income or for the experience? Because if it's the former, then it would be difficult for me to recommend over working at Cedar Point, where they have housing on-site for out of town employees. If it is the latter that makes you want to work at KI, though, my personal recommendation would be to see if you can get a couple other people interested so you can work down here together and split rent. I had no problem with it. Took less than a tank a week. A lot better than I'm doing now.
  12. Kings Island petting zoo during the day time Halloween event was never an up charge either.
  13. Remember the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Magic Kingdom Park had an accident recently.
