Arrow's big problem is their rides don't age well, almost every Arrow ride in existance started out with smooth rides, but now all you seem to hear is how painful the ride is. I think it's a combination of both track work and the trains. The trains for Vortex for example, have no padding anywhere and the restraints are very hard and unforgiving. If they could add some more padding to them like the did with Son of Beast the ride would be excellent.

This topic is starting to turn into a debate on weather or not Arrow rides are fun, so this is moving to the battle room.

I am not able to make motion animations, that requires 3d Studio Max 5 which is very exspensive.

Now that the Coney Mall Face Lift has been announced do you think that Shake, Rattle and Roll will be seeing a new paint scheme? In my opinion the only parts of SRR needing refurbished are, the main structure (Dark Green) needs to be painted, the concrete could use some patching there are quite a few cracks in it, and the control building/queue rails need some new paint. As far as the cars needing new paint I personally think they look fine, I hope they don't paint them new colors and not inform me as to which one is Orange #2, I could recognize it anyway lol. I hope the fix all the burnt out light bulbs on the structure and in the cars because if you have ever ridden SRR at night you know how awesome it is seeing the head and tail lights all lit up. On a side note, did you know that there is an Eiffel Tower made out of steel structure and bush next to SRR, next time you ride look by the sign and you'll see it. Don't employees just black out the picture of guests that make obscene gestures on the rides that take pics of each car IE VRTX and FOF. I can see how that would be a problem on Son of Beast since it covers six seats in one picture.

Well I have never ridden X so I can't say anything about it's ride quality but I can say that I have the upmost respect for it, there aren't enough unique rides out there. I think that Arrow's 4D design is genius, sure there are flaws but they can be worked out, take Bat for instance, the first successful suspended coaster and it was plauged by mechanical problems like X. I hope that the 4D design can be perfected so that there will be more of them but if the future of the 4D design is like that of the Suspended it will most likely fade out and die.

My Vote Went To King Cobra, It's My Favorite Coaster of all time and I never rode any of the other three.

While Arrow Is Old tecnology I would have to say I have at least a top three. 3. X (SFMM) 2. Viper (SFMM) 1. The Bat (PKI) I know All The Reasons Why Bat was removed so there is no need to "Educate" me on it, it's number one because that's Arrow coaster I want ride most.

Vekoma My expeirences with Vekoma rides (Face/Off,Runaway Reptar,T2 and Roller Skater) are pretty much all the same, exciting layout, very rough rides. Vekoma is being used by Disney for Expedition Everest and Universal for Revenge Of The Mummy these are the two best amusement companies, the main reason I see for it is the low cost of the track. Everest is reportedly 100 Million Dollars but Disney is known for its extensive theming, so you have theme, landscape and track to pay for. Revenge Of the Mummy is supposed to be the most extensive theming of any ride to date, that most bring a high cost. Will these rides be smooth and enjoyable, unknown, but that is pretty impressive for Vekoma to be contracted by both Universal and Disney. B&M I have only ridden Chang and I must say it is the smoothest ride I have been on, painful on your body but the tack work is very smooth. B&M is renowned for their notoriously smooth rides and are held to a high standard but the price tag on one of their rides is a huge jump from Vekoma. So if Disney or universal were to contract B&M for their new rides the cost would of been way too much. As far as Pki getting a B&M or a Vekoma I think it would only be logical for them to get a B&M since there current isn't a single B&M in the park.
